I bought this book after listening to Rick on two podcasts and being in AWE of him. His book did not disappoint and I tried to read it slowly to make it last haha. So happy to have this to refer back to - I think it's going to end up very dog-eared!!

Pretty happy with this book. An interesting read that gets you thinking.
Rick Rubin has written a book that all creative people should read. Its difficult to define, I think of it as a memoir of epiphanies and deep thoughts as to what it means to be creative and live a genuine creative life. I keep my copy on my desk and pick a page at random each morning to take in a little wisdom.
Very interesting and cool and read his perspective on music and life.
I enjoyed this. It was a really interesting way of describing the creative process - both the ups and the downs. The chapters are short and broken down into specific elements of the creative process, so it's easy to chip away at it slowly or go direct to something you may be struggling with.Really interesting.
Such an awesome book! One of those that you read a paragraph and go off to digest its knowledge then re-emerge with new awareness. I've been battling with letting go in my creativity, letting go of constructs that bind. This book has been a divine intervention. Also its physical qualities are magnificent, it feels beautiful to touch with old school hard cover binding and luxe paper stock
