The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil 150ml. This is my first introduction to an oil cleanser and I’m now wondering how I ever did without it! I’ve been using the Good Molecules cleanser (which I adore) but this is more of a gel and not an oil. The texture of this Rice Water Cleansing Oil is kind of dry and and not wet, if that makes sense? Once the oil is warmed up from the heat of your fingers and your skin it melts into your skin which in turn broke down my makeup including my waterproof mascara! It doesn’t bother my usually sensitive skin so a definite plus for us sensitive types. I love that it has Jojoba oil as this assists with sebum production 🤍 My pores are not clogged and are not more pronounced so this oil is exactly as the description says, a ‘Light’ cleansing oil. Looks and feels like water, this oil cleanser penetrates deeply into pores. Effectively removes excess sebum, dirt and pollutants and leftover sunscreen without stripping my combination (normal/oily) skin. While it's able to take off light coverage makeup, it doesn't do much for medium to full coverage unless you use a large amount. One thing I dislike is the weird scent. Not unpleasant to the point where I stop using this but it strongly reminds me of cheap bar soap. I wouldn't say it brightens my face but haven't experienced dullness or flaky skin.

Honestly, I had next to no expectations for this. The face shop is an OG brand but not one that I use a ton of products from, so I wasn’t expecting much. The texture is so light that it’s almost like water. It does have a scent, kind of floral but it’s actually kind of pleasant. But it’s so easy to spread on your face but what blew me away is that I applied a generous amount to my eyes while I working it onto the rest of my face. When I went back to very lightly work it over my eye makeup, I could feel all of my waterproof mascara slipping off. Like in no time at all, boom! Every stitch of makeup gone. I think I found my holy grail at least for now. And I have tried sooooo many cleansing oils and balms and nothing gave me whip lash like this one did.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

I have to start off by saying that I wear eye make up almost every day. I use a waterproof eyeliner and I use strip band lashes almost every single day. Having said that, I've used a lot of eye make up removers and make up removers in general and my favorite for the longest time was the Lancome Bi-Facil eye make up remover. It removed my waterproof make up and the leftover eyelash glue amazingly, but the price point was just really high. I've tried other balms and oils before but usually I would still have to go back in with a cotton swab with the Lancome one to remove the stubborn make up and glue still leftover in my lash area. This is also gentle enough to use daily. I haven't noticed any issues. I would definitely buy this again after I'm finished with this. The price for the efficiency of the product is unbeatable.

I have eye-liners, eyeshadows, lipsticks and lash glues that are crazy sticky and staining, and this removes them without a problem. Had my sister-in-law try it as well and she complimented how easily it took off her lash glue, so if you have really pesky lash glue products, I definitely recommend giving this a try!It doesn't have any kind of strong scent and doesn't irritate my skin at all. Gentle and Effective

This oil cleanser is a favorite of mine! It's extremely gentle on the skin, but removes my waterproof makeup effortlessly. I've always had trouble removing my Sky High waterproof mascara, but this did the job super quick, with no irritation.There is an oily residue if you wash the cleanser off with water alone. If you are double cleansing properly, however, this shouldn't be much of an issue! There's a super light floral scent which is really pleasant. Also, an unexpected plus was that this doesn't sting your eyes! Although you should obviously avoid getting the cleanser in your eyes, that fact that it doesn't sting really helps if you're removing eye makeup.

I started using very little and soft makeup since I was 13! I never used makeup wipes before and i've always went through a few oil cleansers for double cleansing and removing my makeup. I recently bought this off YESSTYLE bc i wanted to try something new! Overall this product is a nice and basic cleanser if you want an inexpensive option!! It is effective at removing makeup and sunscreen and does its job as an oil cleanser. Super nice

This oil cleanser is really nice. It takes off my waterproof makeup like it was never there and washes off really easily. My skin has greatly improved because of it and it not so greasy. I also don't break out at much even on my period. The pump is really nice and convenient. I use about 1 and a half pumps if I am wearing a full face of makeup(which is almost every day) and that amount works fine to take everything off. Right after I rinse off the oil, I use my foam cleanser and then finish the rest of my skincare routine. I have had this for almost a month and about half of the bottle is gone which is fine because I'm pretty sure my sister was using it too without me knowing. didnt really work for me

skin type - oily, dehydrated, acne-prone, and a lot of blackheadsthis is a very very basic oil cleanser. it didnt blow me away. i only bought it because i needed one and i wanted a cheap one. it worked for a while but then i realized i would always still have some leftover makeup after using it, and even after double cleansing i hadnt seen much of a difference. it does not remove mascara or waterproof mascara well, and definitely will not remove much blackheads or whiteheads.could be great for beginners or those who are just starting their asian skincare journey. but i dont recommend if you wear a lot of makeup ://

remove makeup

After using up one bottle, I placed another order. I have now consumed half of the second bottle. I remove ALL of my makeup with the oil at night, and it is quick and gentle. I use two little pumps in a dry hand to rub all over my face, eye lashes, and body before wiping with a dry washcloth. I go over it once more with a tiny pump and clean with the dry handkerchief once more. Then, my face is completely makeup-free! Wow! I thoroughly cleanse my face and rinse the washcloth after that. It is genuinely great!
