This gin is so wellbalanced and has the right amount of botanicals. It is crisp and dry with hints of elderberries and the sweetness of other botanicals that makes it delicious. it is great in a martini with very dry vermouth and perfect with a Fevertree tonic or Mediterranean Tonic and a slice of lime, lemon grapefruit All delicious. It is a great gin and I am hooked

We drink a lot of gin and love trying different brands so I was excited to be given this gin to review. It looks stunning. Such a beautiful bottle. I tried some neat and it had great juniper flavour with hints of orange. Unfortunately the flavour disappears once mixed with tonic. We pour a decent measure but the gin didn?t stand up to being mixed. We use a plain tonic. Same as for all our gins. Had it with lemon. Maybe a slice of orange. At the price I am unlikely to buy again.

I?m reviewing this because I got a free sample from Ocado. I like gin very much and this is one I hadn?t tried. The bottle is incredibly attractive and lovely to hold. I enjoyed the slightly peppery gin with the traditional lemon slice, lots of ice and plain tonic but will add my favourite lavender sprig next time. Would make a nice gift as it?s so beautiful.

A very nice, rather Sharp, but in a nice way, gin. I would recommend putting it with a plain tonic, I use Schweppes, with a slice of pink grapefruit. DO NOT PUT FEVERTREE MEDITERRANEAN TONIC. it will take the taste of the gin away completely. enjoy.
I received this from Ocado for review. Neither my wife nor I are gin drinkers, or rather we weren't until trying out this gin! For both of us the word "gin" summoned up memories of a particular shall remain nameless London Dry gin from the 70s. Far too "perfume-y" to be enjoyable. This gin arrived in a very attractive bottle, and after removing the foil cap the cork stopper came out with a very pleasant pop. The gin has a definite orange peel hint that we found remained noticeable even when thoroughly diluted with tonic (we chose the Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic). Gin seems to be the new popular spirit, judging from the number of small producers that are popping up. I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I fell in love with gin many years ago, way before it became so popular. I have tried many and this is up there with the best. Try it with lots of ice, Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic and garnish with pink/red grapefruit. A beautiful summer drink, the sun is optional but it helps! I definitely will buy again
I absolutely love this gin. Classic flavours. It never disappoints and it goes well with different flavoured tonics and in cocktail's. Beautiful bottle too.
We were sent this to review by Ocado, and couldn't believe our luck. The bottle is beautiful and the gin inside is lovely too. Having compared it neat with our other gins, we can confirm that it is gloriously smooth, and also makes a rather nice gin and tonic. The botanicals didn't come through especially strongly, but the smoothness more than compensated for this.
First of all feel very lucky to receive this in return for review. We are massive gin fans in our house. This is delicious, smooth, light and yes peppery. We had with Waitrose essential tonic water. Garnish, tried frozen raspberries, absolutely gorgeous. We also tried with slice of satsuma (no orange to hand) definitely preferred the frozen raspberries. There is no suggestion of how to serve on the bottle which i think would be nice to see. However I 100% recommend this gin and definitely recommend to give as a gift. It is such a lovely smooth gin and the bottle very pretty. iI'm m thinking of putting some lights in it when its empty
Ocado offered me a complimentary bottle in turn for a review. How could I refuse? I love the Lake District having spent many happy holidays there so was very happy to support anything from the area. The bottle itself is beautiful in it's simplicity, with an embossed pattern on it which gives it the look and feel of something exclusive, rather like cut glass. The Ice blue hue the bottle gives, hints at a clean crisp refreshing drink and that is what you get. I took their advice and drank it long with natural tonic and a slice of grapefruit. It hit the spot!, super refreshing with a lovely citrus zing to it, which did not overpower the more subtle notes of pepper and juniper. A lovely drink. Potent at 46%, and priced on a par with similar artisan styles. I would have ... MoreOcado offered me a complimentary bottle in turn for a review. How could I refuse?
