Survive an apocalypse on Earth in The Last of Us, a PlayStation 3-exclusive title by Naughty Dog. Here, you will find abandoned cities reclaimed by nature. Here is a population decimated by a modern plague. Here, there are only survivors killing each other for food, weapons, or whatever they can get their hands on. Here, you find no hope. Joel, a brutal survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US.

I've played so many games over the last 26 years, and this one is it. My favorite. Incredible story; emotional at times (even us desensitized ones got caught up), funny at others, and terrifying really kinda... Well... All the time lmao. The world they built for this game is what I imagine it being if this were a real event, it's absolutely beautiful seeing earth reclaim it's land after so long. They did great job with it. Love the "zombies" (some folk get very passionate that these are not zombies but they are to me 😻) and how they transform. I've played this game through several times, and every time was just as fun as the first. Except for that basement. If you know, you know.

I played this game for the very first time at around christmas 2 years ago! And since then it has been my favorite game ever! The story is fantastic the gameplay is amazing. The graphics are great! Also keep in mind this game is from 2013! I have nothing bad to say about this game! I love it and can only recommend it! On other terms ... the sequel is horrible! I hate the story i hate what they did with the characters! Yes the graphics are absolutely amazing but the game itself is a disrespect to the fans from the first one, the gameplay were told to be absolutely game changing but from what i saw from actual gameplays there isnt much that makes it different from other games with actual good stories! This being said, play the first one but please just ignore that ...Ā MoreI played this game for the very first time at around christmas 2 years ago! And since then it has been my favorite game ever! One of my all time favorite games. Even coming back to it almost 10 years later, it is still outstanding. The story is fantastic, in depth, and emotional. The characters are relatable and go through some serious development, have depth and emotion. The game is challenging but with different difficulty levels, there is something for everyone. The environment is hyper detailed and realistic, and a grim reminder of what could befall humankind. Outstanding storytelling, combat, and detail make this game one that is difficult to simply shut off and walk away from. The end if the world at its finest, I would recommend this game to any survival horror fans or story driven gamers who are looking to entirely immerse themselves in a beautiful, gritty world. 10/10 and then some.

I've played the original The Last of Us game on the PlayStation 3, so I was excited to try out the remastered version on the PlayStation 4. And let me tell you, The Last of Us Remastered did not disappoint. It's an exceptional game that manages to balance gripping storytelling, intense gameplay, and stunning visuals. The Last of Us Remastered follows the story of Joel, a survivor in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by infected creatures, and Ellie, a young girl who he is tasked with protecting. The game's narrative is exceptional, with well-developed characters and a storyline that is both emotional and gripping. Players must navigate through dangerous environments, fight off hordes of infected creatures, and scavenge for resources to survive. The combat is intense, with a variety of weapons and strategies available to take on the infected. The game also offers a variety of difficulty settings, making it accessible to players of all skill levels. One of the standout features of The Last of Us Remastered is the graphics. The visuals are simply stunning, with detailed environments, realistic character models, and impressive lighting effects. The remastered version also includes updated textures and character models, making the game look even better than the original. The Last of Us Remastered also includes a multiplayer mode, which is a nice addition to the game. It offers a unique twist on traditional multiplayer modes, with players working together to scavenge for resources while also trying to eliminate the other team. The Last of Us Remastered is an exceptional game that delivers on all fronts. The story is emotional and gripping, the gameplay is challenging and rewarding, and the graphics are stunning. Whether you're a fan of the original game or new to the series, The Last of Us Remastered is a must-play game that is sure to impress.

Spoiler free! Despite this being nearly 10 years old it’s still one of the best quality games I’ve seen and really ahead of its time. In my opinion it’s not really made to be a pure scary game there are jump scares and intense moments which make it fun but it’s definitely catered towards the story line of the character and the pure talent on the stunning scenery. You can chose your difficulty and on medium difficulty it’s good to play but not too easy at the same time. The combat is good a lot of stealth and some full on shoot outs, many weapons and the looting is fun. They explain back stories on the different types of ā€œzombiesā€. The story line is what really makes it for me, the voice actors are perfect for the roles and with the animation it feels so real, like you’re watching a movie. It’s so well written you get attached to the characters and really invested. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t enjoyed this game! I will forever replay this game as I’ve never had this love for one.

I’ll never forget the first time I played this game. I bought it on sale for 14.99, I watched a trailer before I bought it and was immediately eager to play this game. This game is truly an emotional roller coaster. You immediately become attached to the characters, the storyline and the character development is some of the best I have seen in a video game, naughty dog truly went above and beyond on creating this game. You will laugh, become frustrated and possibly even cry. That’s how amazing the storyline of this game is. The mechanics graphics are simply amazing. There’s beautiful scenery it really from start to finish keeps you hooked. The dialogue is even better. There’s a perfect amount of action each mission is enjoyable. So this game is a closed map game so once you finish the game, you only choice is to play it again or play new game +, however the graphics of the remastered version is AMAZING, visually stunning, it won't be as great as games built for the PS4 as this game was originally released for the PS3 but it's beautiful, and I won't take anything less then beautiful. The store line is amazing, you really feel immersed in the game when you play through it, and you really feel connected to the characters to the point where I was sad it was over, I can't wait for the second game to release, I don't know how they will ever make it as good as the first, but damn, the first one will get your hopes up. The missions are fun, of course you're just getting from point a to b, but there's a few puzzles and many obstacles to keep you guessing, the scavenging is perfect, it you take time to scavenge for your supplies you'll never be left with less then you need, but it's also not tedious to scavenge for what you need either, the combat can be a little janky every now and then, but once you get the hang of it, you won't have a single problem, but of all the games I've ever played this game is truly up there. It's not too scary to where to won't even want to play it, and most of the time it's kind of relax so you don't die of a heart attack at every corner, but itll keep you at the edge of your seat.

Thus game has a new take on zombies and morality of the individual in an apocalypse. There is no wonder that with the recent resurgence it has still captured many. From unique gameplay features paired with an intense and story driven experience to overall graphics and underlying implications The Last of Us held up a portal to a harrowing reality where zombies are real and spread like a fungal infection. It is a thought that sits with you and while fiction there is enough of a connection to reality to make you say "what if" and hope that this thing never happens. Though I doubt it will, thays the mark of a very compelling work of apocalypse fiction.

I believe I am one of the few people on earth that didn’t enjoy this game - I actually found it incredibly boring to play and I was only pushing myself to play it because I got it for free through PSPlus. The story between Joel and Ellie didn’t interest me much, the characters were very bland and I could already guess the final plot twist halfway through the game. The enemies were interesting, but also very irritating and far too difficult to get rid of. Even on the easiest difficulty setting, I found myself dying with every enemy encounter and I never had enough supplies to get by, despite searching every nook and cranny for what I needed. The Last of Us was such an intense experience. It strongly emphasizes survival in both its gameplay and story. Great production values for the time even though the game is in 720p and not 1080p. The voice acting is some of the best I have heard in gaming. The music compliments the emotional core of the game which did wonders to bring in much investment I had with the game's story. This just became one of my favorite games. As for how DKOldies handled the process of shipping this game to me, they did great, Case was in great shape, disc was clean. That is all I can ask for.
