As the new Legend of Zelda game was coming out I decided to finally buy this collection. Sure, it has nothing to do with the canon of the franchise, with alterations to the stories, but they're all really great reads. Add the manga art style and you're in for and amazing literature adventure.

I was so happy when i found this box set of The Legend Of Zelda books, Iv loved the games ever since i was a very young child and the best part about the games is the awesome storylines so to find these books was amazing. This set has all the well known and some lesser known stories from the games and is written in english. I got this for my sister for her birthday as she was raised on Zelda aswell and after receiving it in perfect condition for a great price i will definitely be buying another one for myself. Cant wait to read them all.

My son hates to read, but he loves video games. I got these to encourage him to read on his own. My kids started reading right away. My son hates to read and he chose these books over video games. He and his sister sat in the same room together reading for hours. Love the books.

4 of the books are from a 2 part series. Manga style, incredible stories. No need to read in timeline order. Awesome for Zelda fans.
I bought this for my avid manga readers for Christmas. They are not picky by any means, but with the quality that was provided, I will make sure not to order from this company again. The outer box, dust cover, whatever you want to call it, came in completely destroyed. I'm returning this and will buy from amazon next time.
My son loves these characters and having this in a convenient set at a great price makes it a win-win! Would recommend to anyone who loves Legend of Zelda!
I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift without really knowing what it was. He is a big Zelda fan, so I figured he might like it. He loved it!! Apparently it's a big deal in Zelda world. And it's also a great price. I got it on clearance for $35. I guess it's normally like $80 or so.
I liked the way the author took with telling the legend of Zelda stories, some books had more humor in it, there were the characters that you knew but some had a back story for you, and of course the manga art itself is really good. The story is really good for people who like the Zelda games, and a good read when you are waiting for the next game to come out.
First of all, the Legend of Zelda games are the best games series of all time. Included is all the original English translation versions of the Japanese comic series. These are in the form of the standard size Japanese release comics (like a small book in the UK). This chronicles the Zelda game series from Ocarina of Time to the phantom hourglass. Oracle of seasons / ages, four swords, minish cap and a link to the past are included. If you enjoy Zelda and also enjoy Japanese comics you'll love this set. It works out far better value than buying the comics individually. There are hardcover editions also available containing a few volumes per book. They can also be found as a box set or individually.
