The first thing that struck me about this bag is how nice looking it is. The material is fantastic; and it's so spacious. You can fit a lot in this tote. This could be used for many purposes, any sports, urban wear, travel.I would recommend this bag.

I ordered this bag at full price & received a new with tags bag marked for much less than the selling price on the website. It has the same UPC# listed on both the original sticker and the 'Our Price' sticker. I hate to think Dick's would not honor their own pricing or is fulfilling orders using a 3rd party.The bag itself is smaller than I expected. It is difficult to close the top zipper with a 13 inch laptop in the laptop sleeve. The front pockets are difficult to see inside. The interior space remaining in the bag (if using the laptop sleeve for a computer) is less than expected.

The top handles on this are really short and essentially useless. You can't actually carry this as a tote which I'm bummed about. I wanted to be able to use it interchangeably, otherwise I would have just bought a backpack. Which this is. This is just a backpack. I also can't comfortably carry it holding the handles with it hanging down because it almost touches the floor. Comfy and stylish to carry as a backpack and functional. Casual and good for a day at the library or studying perhaps.

Good quality bag with a perfect handle and waterproof material. I found the size perfect, even if my work laptop can't fit: it would fit a small laptop or tablet. The back is more padded than I expected, it's surprisingly comfortable. It has a sporty look while still being neutral and professional. I appreciate the two outside pockets, but it lacks inside pockets. A shoulder strap would have made it perfect! Overall a great purchase.
I have 2 of these! It's my work bag. I carry my Chromebook and my work essentials in it. I love that it's a backpack but also has the handles to carry as a tote. And you can wipe it clean. Repels rain. I love it. I wish it was available in more colors.
I fell in love with the bag when I saw it. I love the more vintage relaxed look and that it's stylish and functional. I'm using it daily for work to carry my laptop. The padding on the back is super comfortable but it also works well as a tote. The ginger color is great for fall but is neutral and will be good for other seasons.
I actually love this tote pack, it's small and has a really slim profile- which for me is perfect. I can fit 2 heavier novels, a 13" laptop, and gym clothes along with my essentials in the front two pockets. That's it though, so if you're looking for a large bag, this is not the one. For me it's perfect since I prefer to carry lessOnly issue I have is there are no pockets inside the bag other than the dedicated laptop sleeve
Maybe this is more my fault for not reading reviews so I'm hoping someone gets info from my review. This bag is small, for small everyday things like laptop/tablet. And some folders it is enough. I bought it with the intentions of replacing my girlfriend everyday tote that she hails around for school and work. But it's just too small. And the straps are not padded so really uncomfortable. She is going to use it daily for about a week and we'll decide whether she keeps it or not. But it's not promising.
I ordered this backpack/tote more for its looks than anything else. I plan on using it around the city. It’s a very nice fabric with lots of room. The straps aren’t padded so not great for really heavy things. I love how it looks. It’s perfect for my intended use,
Purchased the Berkeley Tote as an everyday bag for work and school. It's professional and cute. You can wear it like a backpack or use it like a hand bag. The padding on the backside is so supportive for your back. The two front pockets are deep. The zipper is sturdy. Very durable.
