High quality, comfortable, light waterproof windproof shell, great length and a lovely color. I wear it everyday, it's perfect for fall in the northeast. Main problem is the pockets- they are set too high, so theyre hard to access, i cant use them to put my hands in while walking due to how high they are, and if i put anything inside them it makes me look like i have a massive belly sticking out. And there are no inner pockets, it needs inner pockets. Also, the velcro along the zipper is nice to have but totally unnecessary. Beware, it snags on sweaters and scarves.

Fantastic color but there are a few things I don't like. First, the A-line shape is fine for pear shapes, but I'm more top heavy. Second, what's with the goofy pockets? I'm top heavy so the pocket flaps going all the way to the top of the jacket are not flattering. Third, I can't stand the little Velcro tabs on the front opening. I wear a lot of active wear and nothing destroys it like Velcro. I do like the elastic sleeves, the fabric, the hood, the color and the length.

I've purchased the previous version of this jacket and the inside liner started falling apart. When purchasing the item I was reminded of North Face warranty which made me confident to buy the jacket. North Face stood behind their warranty and credited me and I bought this one with a meshed liner like a wind breaker I have for years now and I'm amazed how it held up. Their products are of good quality and with the warranty there's no doubt in making a purchase from North Face

This coat did what it says, it kept me dry and pretty warm when walking the West Highland Way. It has a lovely long length but for me ,it has one huge fault - the hood is way too big for my head. It kept falling way down over my face. As a result ,all I could see was the ground at my feet. This is not good when hiking up on the mountains where being able to see all around is very necessary. It way very annoying. My daughter had to clip back the hood with a hair grip which worked for a bit.It would be a perfect coat it I could tighten the hood at the back as I was able to do with my old coat. If you've got a small head like me think twice before buying this coat
I bought this rain parka for my daughter for her birthday. She LOVED it and was very surprised! The only issue is the sleeves could be a little longer. She is tall and the parka did not come in tall sizes. Also, I sent an email to ask if there was a coupon I could use on the purchase because the same item in a different color had a sizable discount, but I never got a reply. Nevertheless, she absolutely LOVES it and will keep it.
Perfect length to keep your bottom dry. Got a 2x which gives plenty of room for layering. Nice and light and packs well. For reference I am 5'9" and my chest circumference is 44" which is my largest measurement. A 1x would have fit but would have been too tight in the chest with anything more than a T-shirt underneath.
I outgrew my old The North Face parka and knew I was going to replace it with a new one from this company. This parka is part of my everyday autumn life and will definitely be used throughout winter and spring. I needed a jacket that helped block icy winds and this does exactly that! Bonus, the sizing allows for me to layer it with sweaters. I am a very, very satisfied customer. Thank you The North Face!
This jacket checks all the boxes for me-- windproof, waterproof, hooded, great length (covers my butt), lightweight, can be worn over a fleece for added warmth. Giving it four stars instead of 5 because the outside pockets are placed a little high, there are no inside pockets, and could be better color selection. (I got the tea green; would have liked a light grey or beige option.) Fit was true to size. (I'm 5"4"/130 lbs. and got M.)
This jacket has been solid so far (granted I have not gone through the rainy season with it yet). It seems to be actually waterproof during short heavy rains and long drizzles. The pockets are nice and large, and I like the length of the jacket so your bum is not getting all of the run off of a jacket that ends at the waist. I am between sizes and sized up which has left plenty of room for layering underneath. However, this jacket is a bit warm/not breathable for summer wear and does not have pit zips.
The women's parka is nice. BUT, I noticed that your newer coats no longer have embroidered logos on them. INSTEAD, the logos are rubberized "stick-ons". I have a Columbia coat that has a "stick-on" also. It now reads "umbia". The rest of it wore off. The shoulder belt of my car's seat belt has rubbed off the "Col". As a result of North Face cheapening its products by using stick-ons instead of embroidered logos, you have lost my husband's business, too.
