This hat has been perfect after moving into the California desert. I use it for outdoor work, errands on sunny days and birding. It has excellent sun protection and the black color does not get too hot.The metal grommets will get hot if left in direct sun.The quality of the material is excellent and I know it will be very durable for years to come.I was worried this shorter brim would be too small but it is actually just right. Glad I didn't get the wider brim.It is true to size; I have a very small head and the S/M is a good fit.

Beautiful hat. I'm a woman with a large size head. Bought the men's large and it fits great. Nice fabric. The brim is a bit smaller on the men's version, but still provides adequate sun coverage.
Love this hat. Use it for outdoors work and hiking. The brim is not too big, just enough to give me the sun protection on my face. The tied down rope could be easily remove and put back.

is expensive but overall am happy with this purchase (on sale) as is a well designed with cute floral print. also like that it is made from 100% recycled. I went for the smaller size and is fairly snug on my average size head.
