Well this Christmas I thought I would treat myself to a new north face hoodie. I have always loved the North Face gear. So when my nice red hoodie showed up, I eagerly put it on and wore it Christmas Day.But what a disappointment! I’ve never seen so much lint on my t shirt when I pulled my sweatshirt off the first time. Geez!!! So I ran it separately in the wash and lightly dried it. I had to clean the lint not only out of the dryer lint basket, but also out of the washing machine as well.Now the collar is pilled with lint balls. It looks years old around the collar after one simple wash. Sorry I will not recommend this one.

I was there to purchase a cropped Nike hoodie to go with my cropped North face jacket. As I was leaving I noticed the North face hoodie and decided it would go better with my jacket, so I returned the Nike cropped hoodie and purchased the North face hoodie instead. Great choice! Matched perfectly!!

The hoodie is great, but the customer service is really bad. I bought this item as a birthday gift for my partner, as he loves the North Face brand. I order online because I like Dick's and it is difficult for me to get to an actual store. The store in CONKLIN, NY left the security tag on the hoodie. I was unaware if this until the day before I was to give the gift. Since I don't live near a store, my partner had to bring his own gift to a brick and mortar location to have it removed. How ridiculous! I have worked for a big box retailer for 10 years in many roles from department sales manager, district manager, to store manager. This kind of mistake is careless and should not happen... EVER. I will think again the next time I decide to order anything from Dick's.

Great sweatshirt. I purchased due to past experience with the brand and have not been let down. Super comfy and soft great for any and all activities. Highly recommend for yourself or as a gift. I actually ordered a second one in a different color just because I liked the look and feel. I have a different hoodie from North Face that I've had for years and it is still in perfect shape and I wear it at least once a week and wash once a week. Hands down my favorite sweatshirts and am slowly fading out all my old sweatshirts with North Face hoodies.
Everytime I put on my North Face "Half Dome" pullover hoodie, it makes me want to go to Yosemite and hike "Half Dome"! It fits me better than my favorite sweater. The inside is comfortable, soft, and warm. The bright gold color with black bold logo cheers me up and makes me smile. I prefer pullovers to traditional zip-ups because they are warmer (the zippers leak cold air) and there's no zipper to break or jam. I recommend this hardcore hoodie to anyone who is in the market for a new one.

I bought the NF hoodie about 2 months ago. It is the most comfortable hoodie I have. Very soft and warm. I usually buy another brand but decided to try NF. it was the best decision I made.
I have several North Face shirts/ long sleeves/ hoodies and this was not the quality nor the fit that you can expect from North Face.The material is thin and the fit is very small.I was going to return it, but it fits my child fine and he likes the color.I am 5'11'' 170lbs and I wear a Medium in North Face and Patagonia for reference. If I had returned this for another size I would have had to return it for an XL, the sizes are that far off.Maybe I got a lemon because everyone else seems to like this hoodie. I would not recommend it.5/20/2021 - follow up - The sweatshirt tore after the first week of wear. Backcountry made it super easy to return.
I spent weeks looking through Reddit and google on "most comfortable hoodies" and what people had to say about them. Multiple agreed that the battle was mostly between a 300 dollar hoodie that was made of unicorn hair or something dumb, Patagonia, and The North Face. I bought both and this one is my leisure around the house, sometimes to work, chill in kind of hoodie. Patagonia was more of a "I'm going out" kind of hoodie. I wear this hoodie more than any other hoodie I've ever owned and am mad I didn't buy this before. Do it, you won't regret it
I liked my surgent half dome hoodie so thought I'd pick up a couple of these. my first impression was that it felt extremely light and thin for a hoodie. after trying it on and wearing it around for a while I did find it to be very warm and comfortable. unfortunately for me within a week of getting them I caught the arm on a piece of metal making a small pin hole in the sleeve. the pin hole grew quickly to the size of a dime and kept getting bigger until I had a noticeable hole in my sleeve and could only wear the hoodie around the house. the other hoodie has held up fine but I do notice alot of fabric pills, heavy on the cuffs but find them all over the hoodie.overall the hoodie is ok but I feel the fabric lacks the quality to justify the price
