This is a great brimmer hat, materials are nice and light, and keeps me cool. I really like the adjustable cords, but was quite surprised how snug the L/XL actually fitted on my head (I don't think I have that big of a head). The brim itself was bigger than I thought so it almost looks like a cowboy hat. It was only after I ordered this hat that I saw the other North face brimmer hat that had a smaller brim and more of a bucket shape. That one seemed more fashionable and I would have went with that one if I saw that one first. But overall I'm happy with this hat as it achieves the objective of keeping me cool.

I’ve been looking for quite some time for the right sun hat. This hat is really great, it breathes really well with the mesh in the top of the hat but also gives great coverage. The best feature is the elastic draw cord that adjusts the fit around your head allowing for a snug or loose fit. It’s fairly packable as well. You won’t be disappointed with this hat.

Great hat. Offers lots of protection and is very breathable. I got the black version which I was worried may be too warm on sunny days, but so far it's been good. The brim can be a bit floppy though. If you tighten the cord the brim has a tendency to flop down on each side. Aesthetically it's clearly a hiking hat.Size large fit great. I typically wear size large cycling and ski helmets and had no problem with the sizing of this hat.

This hat is a godsend. I have solar urticaria, meaning my skin reacts to ultraviolet rays. Before the hat, my face and ears would become inflamed and itchy. Since I've been wearing the hat, this doesn't happen anymore. I love my Horizon Breeze Brimmer!! I get lots of compliments. It is light weight, durable, and easy to clean. 🥰
This is it! I love the fabric. It dries very quickly, whenever I sweat from rough hiking.And it has wide brim to protect your face from evil sun.I like the way it fits on my head. It also has string around, hold the hat from rough wind.I was at Scottland shore, it was crazy windy there, but I was safe from the wind.It has vent area to make your sweat dry fast and less stinky.Buy this hat, If you are planning to go hiking.Perfect hat for that.
Wore this hat on a recent trip to Hawaii. It was perfect for the beach and on hikes. We did a day outing which included kayaking and hiking to a waterfall. it proved to be protective from the sun yet comfortable. It also stays on during high winds, even with the strap cinched behind the head instead of that annoying spot under the chin. I would highly recommend this hat for the adventurer who loves to get outside yet wants to stay protected from the sun.
Not the hat type of person. I was looking for something to start wearing outside to garden and hike in. I hate hats, but I really need the added sun protection. This hat is so comfortable, and I really love that it has a string to tighten the hat so it doesn't fly off your head. the straps that go around your chin are able to come off, which is nice! As far as feeling like I look funny in a hat, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's also SPF40.

The elastic is just tied to loops on the hat vs having a clip. It ends up rubbing/irritating the side of my face so I removed it. I own several brimmed hats like this and the strap on the North Face is my least favorite. It's a small detail, but worth noting.

The black cord is elastic and tied to the hat. The ends of the tied part are burned to prevent fraying so they are hard ends and they end up poking me in the face a lot which is super annoying. The bungee/elastic cord is also not very easy to keep even when you tighten it. I’m also not really a fan of the vented top. The mesh vent covers end up slipping up really easily and then you walk around looking like a mess because they don’t look like they’re supposed to be up, even if you were to open them up intentionally. Previously had a Tilley hat and just found it too HOT to wear, not very comfortable, heavy and just not my style.So when I saw a Youtube video of someone wearing the Horizon Breeze Brimmer I had to try it out. I was not disappointed, it has been fantastic, so much so I gave away my Tilley hat. I have the Horizon Breeze Brimmer in black in a size Large. I'm a woman, and don't think my head is a Large so I'd say this hat runs small. The hat keeps me cool, has great coverage and looks stylish. I love the cord, and the hat stays put when it's windy. VERY happy with my purchase!
