This is a no-frills vest with clean styling and a flattering fit. I am 5'11" and in the neighborhood of 190#, and a Large fits me accurately. That said, in my limited experience of North Face, the brand seems to run slightly trim, even on this "standard" cut. I can comfortably wear the vest over an underlayer and a sweater or fleece without issue.Functionally, the insulation is capable, but not remarkable. Hardware and construction are very solid, but I'm dinging a point for omitting an inner (or outer) chest pocket.Fashionwise, I like the simple baffle design, with its wide chevron pattern. Rather lousy coat.I usually wear a medium and sometimes a small.Reading past reviews I selected small and it does fit well.BUT this is a cheap coat.It's not warm whatsoever.I thought I was buying a decent fall/spring coat.It would be god on a 50-60 degree day.It's so thin.I have many nicer coats from AEO and Express.I am quite disappointed in this.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. It looks great on him and he likes it. He says it’s very warm. Not too puffy but not too thin. I recommend this product.

Great jacket. Fit is perfect for layering. Wore to my daughter's soccer game and it was raining and cold. Jacket kept me warm. Not sure if it will be my winter coat, but perfect for cold fall days.
Loved it for my dad. Hoping for the green to become available. Light but warm. High quality. What I expect from Northface.
I bought this for my husband. He loves it. It fits nicely. It’s thin but holds a bit of warmth. It’s not intended for super cold weather but he mainly goes from our car to the house or work or wherever so it works for him. I’m happy with it.
Runs very large. Consider getting a size smaller than normal. I wear a medium normally. A medium in this jacket was way to big, had to return. Otherwise, great jacket. Lightweight but very warm.
The fit is good, slightly roomy but if I get a bigger size it'll be too baggy. The jacket does keep you warm when doing activity like walking with just a t shirt underneath for a short period of time, I usually wear a long sleeve shirt. I would say this jacket is more for 50+ degree weather, not for anything lower than that. Tried wearing it in 32 degree weather when I was up north for work during the week somedays and got cold pretty quick within an hour. I live in Texas so we get cold days on and off during winter but if you wear it in the north where it gets snow and such, get something more insulated.
perfect for layering. this is nice and light. bought for y dad for Christmas and loved it. I like how it’s not think and bulky. you ca move freely in this without feeling like a marshmallow like others. can be worn underneath another jacket, dressed up or dressed down. versatile. I bought the green and it’s such a good color. my dad is 6’3, slender and usually wears size large. bought a large and fits great!
Bought it as a gift, and my boyfriend absolutely loves it! He says it’s super light, but incredibly warm, perfect for our Georgia weather. Great purchase!
