These makeup eraser towels are just ok for me. The whole idea is that you can wet them and they will remove makeup without having to use cleanser or other products. Great for on the go or if you are in a big hurry. They do this task pretty well, although I will say I don’t feel 100% clean after using these. I feel like there is still product left behind. Since I am a big fan of double cleansing and actually enjoy it, these just may not be a good option for me. They are a great alternative to the disposable makeup removing wipes in that you don’t have as much waste.

I absolutely love these REUSABLE wipes! So much better than single use wipes. Yes they seriously remove your makeup with just water on the fabric! I remove my makeup with just water and then I gently wash my face with cleanser using my hands. The long fibered side of the wipes are supposed to exfoliate, but I stick to using the short fibered side. I’ve washed mine many times and they hold up great over time. I love getting my packs from Costco (I have 2 large wipes and probably 10 small ones). The small ones are great and do your entire face. The large ones are excessively big but are nice if you have makeup on your neck or other larger parts of your body!

I HIGHLY SUGGEST you SOAK it and squeeze water out as needed, the wetter it is, the easier it is to remover your makeup. Follow the directions. You don’t have to be very rough with it to get all your makeup off. However, if you don’t have a washer and dryer in your home… you pretty much have to hand wash it in your sink after each use until you get to thelaundromat. This is a bit tricky sometimes but maybe you can make it work.I give it 5 stars because when it comes out of the dryer…it is just as soft as the day I bought it and it removes all of my makeup (foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, you name it.) I find it’s even quicker at removing my makeup than the makeup wipes or cotton rounds and liquid. BTW- the reverse side can be used to exfoliate your skin and I regularly use it with face wash while I’m away from home and don’t have face cloths.I have saved sooooo much money by buying this, and I recommend it to all my fellow makeup-wearers.Personally I will never go back to my old methods again!

I followed the instructions on the packaging, and laundered the Makeup Eraser before use. It worked pretty well! The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are below:1- It wasn't able to get all of the glitter off of my face. I'm honestly not sure that a regular makeup wipe could have done better, though.2- It did leave lint as another reviewer mentioned. This is a minor drawback that probably wouldn't happen with a disposable makeup wipe.3- At $20, I do think the price is a little high.Nevertheless, I'm happy with my purchase. If given the chance, I would purchase again, but only at a lower price.

Glad I Made The Switch!
29 October 2022

I wanted to switch from disposable makeup wipes, so I gave this a try. My expectations were low as I had tried the Norwex ones in the past with no success. But this really does work! You need to use very warm water and it gets everything off! I wear water resistant makeup, but do not use waterproof mascara.PROS - no more garbage created, takes makeup off well, fairly gentle on skin. i have sensitive eye skin and it is fine for me.CONS - doesn't necessarily wash up well in the washing machine. Sometimes there are still black patches on it once it's been through the laundry. Sometimes you have to scrub on a spot to get makeup off...depending on how much makeup you're wearing.

Holy Grail Product!
15 December 2022

I'll be honest when I say that when I first saw this product all over social media, I thought that it was too good to be true - I mean, come on...how can a little fluffy pink towel somehow equal 3,600 makeup-wipes and last for up to 1,000 machine washes? I don't think I've ever even washed a single article of clothing 1,000 times! But during my last trip to Sephora, I decided to buy it, because why not? I had to see if this product was really worth the hype, and I had a 20% off coupon. So I washed it (as instructed) on hot and dry, which is nice, since some makeup-removing products need to be put in the Delicates cycle, which is kind of a hassle. The cloth came up fluffy as ever, and I soaked it in warm water prior to removing my makeup.I don't wear a lot of ... MoreI'll be honest when I say that when I first saw this product all over social media, I thought that it was too good to be true - I mean, come on...how can a little fluffy pink towel somehow equal 3,600 makeup-wipes and last for up to 1,000 machine washes? The cloth came up fluffy as ever, and I soaked it in warm water prior to removing my makeup.I don't wear a lot of makeup (light eyeshadow some days and Lancome's Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara), but the waterproof mascara that I use is notoriously hard to get off, so I didn't have high expectations. However, with a couple of circular wipes across my eyes (and no additional products used), the Makeup Eraser wiped that mascara right off my lashes! There was no pain involved; no eyelashes ripped out. Sometimes, with makeup wipes, my eyes literally turn red from rubbing them so hard to try and get the product off, but none of that happened with this product. So just from a basic economic standpoint, this product is so, so worth it. I haven't used it 3,600 times, so I can't guarantee you that promise, but the $20 you spend on this will save you so, so much on makeup remover/wipes, and it's painless and chemical-free! It's also such a low-maintenance item - just stick it in the wash every week or so (a normal hot and dry machine wash does the trick), and that's it! Ultimately, this is an amazing product that really surprised me, and I would recommend it to any and all makeup users looking for a convenient item that removes makeup in a flash.

My new favorite make up remover
28 November 2023

I've been using the disposable make up remover wipes, maracuja oils, and make up remover balm but this is by far my favorite. It doesn't pose the risk of getting something unpleasant in my eye that will irritate it and make it feel like its on fire and there's definitely less waste. It feels very soft and I am very impressed with it. Used it to remove lipstick, eyeshadow, eye liner put on with milk hydro grip primer and the charlotte tilbury setting spray, I didn't have to rub hard, and my skin doesn't feel raw after using. Definitely will recommend to friends.

My nightly first step before my skincare routine

I got 2 samples of the pink with my points months ago, and then during the pandemic I've been getting huge pimples along the perimeter of my face mask thanks to the intense heat and humidity we are experiencing in NYC. I tried double cleansing, and for some reason that did not help as much as I wanted for it to. I then broke out one of the samples when I had applied a full face of makeup to cover up my spots, and it removed all traces of everything from my mascara to my lip gloss. I ran micellar water over with a cotton pad afterward, and it did not pick up a speck of makeup. I started using the samples regularly, and noticed that it helped remove everything, even my stubborn high spf cream. I started using the samples regularly, and noticed that it helped remove everything, even my stubborn high spf cream. During the recent promo, I decided to purchase the 7 day pack, and one small cloth per night has helped my skin recover rather quickly. I would always use an AHA/BHA peel and use skincare products geared to help unclog my pores, but these little cloths have become a necessary staple for me. Also, the foundations I use can be rather tricky to remove completely even after a double cleanse, and I would need to use several micellar soaked cotton pads per night, and now with these cloths I use one to wipe every last bit of makeup from my skin, and you'd think that the cloths would become stained even after washing, but they come out looking brand new. I use regular detergent and put them in the dryer with my towels, and they come out looking exactly as they did when I first opened the package. I highly recommend this product and personally think the smaller size is best for somebody with problematic skin b/c you can use a new one each night. The gentle exfoliation it provides is also nice and absolutely not harsh, and the cloths do not tug at your skin. They are incredibly soft and plush.

Not to be THAT person, but people who don’t like this product, maybe you’re just not careful about what you put on your skin. Look to your product before you look to the form of removal. I used makeup for years that was full of harmful ingredients and not natural. I would attempt to remove it with white wash cloths, and even upon bleaching the wash cloths, they would still remain stained the color of my foundation and eye makeup. Upon switching to makeup products with less harmful ingredients, I noticed this happened less, but still a little. I would still use soap with my washcloth to remove makeup off my skin, and even with bleach every so often, there would always be a light stain. AND the makeup eraser loses all stains when washed—not something that happened with any regular wash cloths I used. I’m sure if I used harmful products, my makeup eraser wouldn’t perform as well. However, if you use quality products, the makeup eraser is perfect. It removes all and any makeup with soap. If you use crap products that harm your skin, yeah this may not be perfect, nothing ever will be. I started using old washcloths now and then over the past year — stains the washcloth but it reduces cotton pad use, doesn’t leave fuzzies, and makes less of a mess of remnant polish on my fingers and toes. Since I have an abundance of the minis, I thought I’d try one out with removing polish since it works so well with makeup. Omg, it was even better than I thought it would be!! It took just two dabs of polish remover to remove all my dark blue polish with ease. No staining on my skin and was practically effortless. I haven’t washed it yet and presume it will be stained like my washcloths have been, but that’s okay if it is. It was totally worth it.
