I really enjoy the unique sort of storytelling that this series involves. It feels fresh and new and I really love the characters, but some of the side characters overshadow the main characters on occasion. The world that Bardugo creates has that sense of wonder and mystery that I enjoy. However, she could do a bit better job of making the lore itself feel as truly ancient and integrated as it needs to be to support the story line.

Okay, so reviews said that this set came WITHOUT those ugly Netflix logos. That was a lie. Even worse is the fact that I can’t return the series just because it was shrink wrapped. That’s totally unfair. Not everyone cares about the cover, but a lot of book enthusiasts do care about it. It should definitely be required to mention that the books have these unrecoverable stickers. So disappointing.

Very excited that I got the books today was a little disappointed when it was a little damaged by indents in the spine of 2 books. 2 books were damaged by sticky residue also on the spine. Both top corners of the box was indented resulting in one of the books being creased on the corner. The box itself is also damaged with creases and the cover of the box is peeling.

Once u start, it's impossible to put down. This series, is a masterpiece! I bought these before going out of town and on the car ride home, i finished Ruin and rising! I'm telling u, the are amazing! Ive gotten most of my friends in to them and they love them too! 😘
Love this series. Sometimes the fast pace was a bit much and I wished she would slow down to explore the characters a bit more but that's my only complaint. Three cheers for the three men in Alinas life, all of them are compelling in their own ways. And of course, Alina herself and all her friends are amazing too. Read this before SOC and King of Scars.... xx
We bought this for our younger friends birthday. The immediate reaction was priceless. This book is super hot all over tiktok and is extra hyped bc of the new Netflix series, so the excitement is completely understandable. Her friends are excited to share the books and get reading.
it looked fine until i noticed all the corners were beat. not only was the box itself damaged, but also the books inside as well. there were bend marks like books had been dropped on the corners of the spines repeatedly. pretty disappointed
Loved the box set and the story line is AMAZING! Just a little disappointed in what I received in the mail. All three books have a front cover that is too short, it doesn't meet up with the pages I'm not sure if this is supposed to be this way for easy flicking but I found it quite strange. Other than that the case and covers art is all gorgeous!
