It’s very rare for me to taste everything in the tasting notes provided by the distillery. But in this case l tasted everything! A beautifully balanced, mellow and complex flavoured whiskey.
After a break from whisky for a few years, i decided to move from my heavy peeted favourites of Ilsay as they had started giving me heartburn. This was a vert pleasant surprise.Very smooth and very enjoyable. A nice balance of flavor and an enjoyable evening tipple on the rocks
A smooth Speyside malt which offers nothing particularly exceptional but makes for a very pleasant tipple. At full price it has plenty of quite distinguished competition, but it's often on offer and then is well worth buying.
Smooth drink to go on heavy nights, well priced and on sale at BWS most of the time. unfortunately rarely see's it at Latrobe.
I’m a fan of Australia’s own Starwood Nova single malt and I find the Singleton Malt Masters a very, very close 2nd.For the price, you can’t do better. Recommended.
I enjoy this more than my usual whisky that costs over $100. It's so smooth to drink. This is currently on special at my local for $45. Will be stocking up.
