Used this curry sauce tonight with some roasted baby Aubergine, potatoes and cashew nuts and was very pleased with the result. had the Bengali coconut daal with a handful of baby spinach stirred in for a couple of minutes. We go camping a lot and these sauces and daals have been so useful to take on our trips, one person commented and said you eat better camping than I do at home having seen our panner and pepper tikka masala curry with ST black daal side. working our way through all the various sauces and enjoying everything so far.

Disappointing
16 October 2021

This came free (twice) with my order. Didn't like it at all. Musty flavour and just two sauces with a few spices. Not sure wjat's in it but stained my top with a couple of drops I accidently spilled. Gave the second one away.

Fabulous

This was the first curry I bought from Tesco and absolutely fell in love with it . My son and his partner have started using it too. The pouches and spices are very easy to use and tastes delicious. The only thing I would say is whatever meat you are using it needs a bit longer than instructions. Also for 3 I use 2 packs as I like the sauce.

Lovely clear fresh spices flavour

I made this this evening with chicken breast and it is one of the loveliest curries I've had. Really fresh tasting. I could smell the individual spices. I will be buying this again and trying others in the range.

Rich and smoky
3 June 2021

I used this sauce to make a vegetable curry. The spice pack had two really large black cardamom pods which gave off an amazing smell once broken open. The sauce itself was a very rich tomato flavour. No bitterness to the tomatoes but a nice tanginess which I think might be ginger.I added cashew nut paste this time (recommended on the pack as an extra) and it really was fantastic. Made everything a little creamier in texture and gave a very smooth taste.Overall flavour is not particularly spicy, but the peppercorns gave a little surprise extra heat.A sauce I would be happy to recommend.

Very nice but not as good as homemade
17 September 2022

This is probably the best curry kit that I've had. I bought it on offer so it was a good deal, normally it can be a little pricey. I added extra garlic as I'm a garlic fiend and also tin of green lentils to pad it out. Having done that it fed three of us handsomely. If anything I'd say that it lacks depth of flavours and it could do with a little more chilli kick but it really does make a good meal.

Where have you been all my life!

I never buy ready made curry sauces because you can always taste that weird telltale flavour but WOW Spice Tailor is just amazing. Authentic, delicious, stunning flavours. I made mine with chicken and chickpeas and it tasted like a good quality Indian restaurant had made it. I m so happy to have found these after walking last them on the supermarket shelf for months. I went straight back to buy the dansak , the black Dahl and the Tarka Dahl . Cannot wait to try them.

great cheat
29 July 2020

I have spent ages grating ginger and garlic to make an authentic curry, but its such a lot of work. This is a great cheat. It comprises three sachets. In the pain with the oil and first sachet, I gently simmer lots of onion until translucent. Then I add paneer and/or chicken chunks and brown. To that, I add the second then third sachets along with half a tin of good quality chopped tomatoes (makes it go further without compromising on flavour), and a few whole hard boiled eggs and lots of green chillies, sliced lengthwise. Serve with fresh coriander. Boom. Delicious.
