I am very pleased with my circuit-size stepper. The rubberized strips prevent slipping on top, and rubber pads on each corner on the bottom prevent the board from sliding around on smooth surface floors. I like having the flexibility to add the risers for more height if I want it. The construction is solid. Even though I can hold the platform with one hand, it does not cave when I stand on it with both feet. The price is just right.

The steps are exactly what I thought they were going to be. The steps are sturdy and it has good grip. I had done a lot of shopping around before purchasing these steps and these steps are the only ones I found within a reasonable price that offered 3 heights. The video isn't too shabby either. Video gives you the option to have a beginning workout or advanced. It's a well worth buy.

This product is very easy to use and not too heavy for me to move around. I use it every day. I am nearly 80 and it is important for me to keep agile and flexible. The risers are easy to add to give added height to the Step Platform. It stores easily under the bed or in my closet. i would happily recommend it to any one who wants to keep active.

I bought this because I gained some weight while in college, and I prefer exercising at home over the gym. I had tried step aerobics before in high school, but I had to start with just one pair of risers first to get accustomed to the routine. It's easy to follow the routines on the DVD, I just wish (as others have mentioned) that there was a way to fasten or secure the risers to the platform, because if you happen to accidentally tap the step too forcefully you have to readjust everything. I find this was well worth the money, because it came with two pair of risers and a DVD. Definitely would recommend to my friends.
This was purchased to assist my mom getting in and out of bed at her Assisted Living Center. Not only did it work well for that purpose, the Physical Therapists examined the stepper, and felt that it was the perfect thing for her needs. They even used it a little in her exercises.Mom will be moving to a Skilled Nursing Facility soon and will not need the stepper. However, I plan to bring it home and use it to exercise.
I had no idea how much I was missing out. I had been using a 25 year old "buns of steel" one-piece plastic step. It was hollow with an open bottom and tended to creep when I worked out. It finally cracked so I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. I've only used this one time, but it was solid. I'm a little over 200 lbs and it did not budge at all on top of my rug. I got a great workout and didn't have to keep stopping to straighten my step or move it backwards. I did not receive a video, but there was a link provided with 2 videos. I lost interest as soon as I realized the instructor doesn't speak. Plenty of good step workouts on youtube.
I got rid of my old step when I moved several years ago. But I recently started longing for a great workout where I didn't have to join a gym to take a class. I hadn't done step for a while (I'm 60+), so right now, I'm not using any of the risers, but it still gets my blood pumping.The DVD that comes with it is by Cathy Friedrich, who is as good as they get - excellent choice, Walmart! But if you're not familiar with her moves, it will probably be too complicated. Get one of the Gilad DVD's that Walmart offers, or one of Gin Miller's basic step routines. They are both excellent, too.
I really like the top tread, so I don't slip and the different heights. Most others I saw had only 2 levels, whereas this had three. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I wished the risers would lock-fit in a little more, although I haven't had any problems at all with them. It was sent in a thick cardboard box, so I felt good about that, too.
I was waiting so exited. It came quicker than expected so surprise!. Great Quality I like the fact that its a durable material. Its a good size for me to use it on my bedroom everyday. Easy storage. Its comes with a vdeos uploading option so its great, easy, fun, great cardio option. Love it ! Thank you very much!
This particular stepper is way to small. I didn't realize that it came in different sizes. For a person that is planning to use the stepper for squats and to do chest presses (aerobic style) I would not recommend this size because it's not long enough or tall enough even though you stack 3 steps on each side (which I think is the max for safety reasons). If your only using as a stepper than this will be a perfect choice but if your planning on using it for a variety of things than get the larger size. I hope this helps
