I bought this for my newest addition to the family while shopping at the Silos. When I read it I knew this book needed to be in everyone’s library!! The pages are beautifully illustrated and the words will touch your heart. I plan to purchase another one next time I’m at the Silos to put in my math classroom library! I teach eighth grade and believe this book is just as relatable to them as it is to my one year old and even to myself!!

When I saw this book come out last year, I knew I wanted to buy it for our future baby. A year later, we are expecting our first and are so excited! Near the end of my first trimester, I bought this book to celebrate. It is so beautiful - both the message and imagery. It even inspired our potential nursery theme! Cannot wait to read this to our baby girl.
I bought this book based on the reviews that it was a children's book with an uplifting theme and the comments of it being high quality. I do not watch Joanna Gaines TV show(s) so I did not buy it based on being a fan or follower, I am not. I was very disappointed that I received a poor quality cover. The embossing does not match up with the images. Otherwise, the paper was of good quality and the images are nice. I haven't read the story yet. If you are interested in this book, I would suggest picking it up in the store where you can make sure that it is printed properly.
Already one of my 6 year old grandson's favorite books! His 3 year old brother too. Gave it to him for his 6th birthday 🎂 this week. Can hardly wait to read it to him when they visit at the end of the month. Hope Joanna writes more similar books soon👍❤️
As big Fans of the Gaines Family, I purchased the "Who you were made to be", Children's book for my Daughter, a 3rd grade Teacher, who due to Covid is now an online Teacher in Hilliard Ohio. The Book not only was a hit for her Students, but the other Teachers are also ordering the Book for their Classes. The Message Joanna's Book delivers is what our Children need in this Divided World we live in. We look forward to Joanna's next Book. We would highly recommend this Book. And we also Highly recommend a Trip to the Silos, Our entire Family has been there and Loved it. Thank you all for being such Positive Role Models.
I want to start out this review by saying that I've been buying products from Magnolia for years and never had an issue until recently. My last three orders have all come damaged - including this book. I ordered a candle along with the book and the candle, which was already protected in a box, came wrapped in four layers of bubble wrap while my book was just laying in the bottom of the box with no protection whatsoever. Because of this, the top left corner of the book was smushed during the shipping process. I ordered this as a Mother's Day gift and there is no way to get a replacement in time so I guess I'm giving a damaged gift. I gave my review 4 stars because the book is wonderful but the packaging was not.
Though this book is for children. In our world as it is now everyone needs to read and understand it’s meaning.I am planning on changing my graduation book I give to everyone from Oh the Places You Will Go. By Dr. Seuss to this book. I work in a very diverse health field and have for 38 years. I was having a rough day when this arrived and I read it shared it with a few friends and I cried. Jo great job. Thank you for making people remember that some things I think too many have forgotten.
I am a third grade teacher. I saw this book at a local store and picked it up and thumbed through the pages. I immediately loved the illustrations and message throughout the book. I knew that it would be perfect for my class. Sure enough, they loved it! They enjoyed it so much, and the message is very heartwarming and encouraging that I ended up putting the first copy into my class library. I want them to be able to read it on their own as many times as they want. I bought a second copy to use as a read aloud! Highly recommend!
