Thule Chariot Cross - Country Skiing Kit
Take your children on hikes and cross-country ski sessions by converting your Thule Chariot stroller into a cross-country ski pull or pull-behind carrier for hiking with the Thule Chariot Ski Kit. This kit includes two lightweight skis, two adjustable tow bars with a locking pin, and a padded waist belt with a bottle holder for your convenience. Converting your stroller for a hiking trip is as easy as can be. All you have to do is remove the front wheels of your Chariot, slide in the tow bars, and lock them in with the pin. Because the tow bars are adjustable, you'll find the ideal length for your size in a jiffy. Strap your babies up, put on the padded waist belt, and get hiking. To convert your stroller for cross-country skiing, remove the back two wheels and attach the lightweight skis underneath the chassis. These skis keep your children off the snowy ground so they stay warm and comfortable while you all explore a winter wonderland. This kit is compatible with all of Thule's Chariot models.

This is a must have! It is a great way to get outside and xc ski, and be able to expose your children to the outdoors. Easy to set up, we use the stroller/jogger set up most days, but clicks right into the ski configuration in under 3 minutes. Very well built, this will last a long time!

Bought this to use with our secondhand Chariot Cougar 2 to allow us to go on more comfortable XC ski trips with our 6 month old. I was worried at first that the Thule branded gear may not work with the old Chariot trailer, but it worked beautifully. Well worth it!

I've been skiing a lot, with different pulk, ski types etc. The set up i smart, the cahriot is good but I was really disappointed by Thules harness solution for this setup. It's like they haven't tried it out.1: This solution is not compatible with using a backpack, since it has a permanent attachment to the harness. 2: Every pulk harness should have shoulder straps, when skiing with a pulk you want to be able to lean forward and use your weight as extra help. That is impossible with just a harness around the waist. Third there is no shock absorber in the poles, that means that if you want to ski fast the chariot while bump back and forth and the kid is shaken all over the place. All of the points mentioned would be easy for Thule to make, and I am surprised that ... MoreI've been skiing a lot, with different pulk, ski types etc. The set up i smart, the cahriot is good but I was really disappointed by Thules harness solution for this setup. If not you should contact me and I'll help you out.
Have yet to use it (waiting on more snow). Shipping was relatively fast, and set-up was easy. Looks well-made!
We purchased our Thule Chariot in part because of compatibility with the cross-country ski kit and we could not be more pleased with the investment.Swap out process between strolling/ski mode is fairly straight forward and becomes easy enough with practice. Strongly recommend practicing a few times indoors before doing it in the cold while juggling babies. The waist belt is comfortable, I was able to pull child #1 while pregnant with child #2, until well into the 3rd trimester.Pulling a full double chariot does take more effort than skiing solo, but we have found it incredibly useful for our family. Whether I am taking both children out alone, or both parents are switching off on weekend adventures, it has allowed our family to stay active all winter ... MoreWe purchased our Thule Chariot in part because of compatibility with the cross-country ski kit and we could not be more pleased with the investment.Swap out process between strolling/ski mode is fairly straight forward and becomes easy enough with practice. We bought a used chinook chariot from someone on Facebook marketplace and these worked great with it! Easy to set up and fun to use.
We bought a used Cougar Chariot with the intention of skiing with it so we wasted no time in buying the ski accessory as well. Our stroller is the larger double model and even though we pull a single baby in it, we're continually pleased and impressed with how well the skis work. It's certainly more difficult to nordic ski pulling a stroller than without, but we can ski all of the same places we used to, with only a little more effort. I really can't recommend this enough to anyone who wants to ski with a small child.
Awesome attachment to do a family outing on hut trips, XC ski adventures, and extra training weight to get in shape fast. As well, can attach to the fat bike to take around.
