An excellent expansion and a must have if you Ticket to Ride the base game. The cards are bigger and you have more routes. If you’ve been on the fence of picking this one up, go ahead and add it to your collection. Price point is worth it.

My parents love ticket to ride so this was purchased as part of a birthday gift and it didn't disappoint. Definitely like the larger cards and the extra destinations make the game more interesting. Definitely recommend!

This product is not great by itself. It's an expansion set for the Ticket to ride game. You have to have the original Ticket to ride game in order to use this expansion set. The reason I gave this product 5 stars is because the playing cards in the original game are very small and kind of a pain to play with. The USA 1910 expansion set fixes this problem by replacing the cards with bigger cards that are much more user friendly. It also adds some new cards to the game as well. So, the original game is ok to play, but the USA 1910 expansion set makes it a lot more fun.

I purchased this Expansion, because the cards for the original game are so petite, I needed 'real cards'. These cards are the standard playing card size and they fit in a card shuffler. You do have to have the original Ticket to Ride game with the board to use this Expansion Pack all you receive is cards. All of the original Ticket to Ride cards are in the pack, however there are 5 destination tickets that have different points value, but it doesn't change the game significantly. The 1910 cards have 35 new destinations, which switch things up, for a more enjoyable game. There is 4 Mystery Train tickets, which are low point routes, from a out of print Mystery Train expansion released in 2004. There is also The Mega Game, where you use all 69 cards and get 5 tickets to start, have to keep 3 and then during the game you draw 4 tickets and have to keep 1. There is also a new Globetrotter card, a 15 point bonus for the most completed tickets (this is when those Mystery Train routes will come in handy). We play Ticket to Ride, nearly every night and with all of the different ways to play now, it makes it even more enjoyable. We also use a point counting app (Pointsman) which has all of the 1910 cards as well as Original, Mystery Train and Globetrotter. If you love the original game and are looking to change things up a little, this is the best purchase you can make.
I like the new tickets, they add a bit of mystery after you've played the base game several times and got used to the routes. I also like the Globetrotter bonus, it changes the strategy and game play quite a lot. The Big Cities variant makes the game quite intense and exciting. I also love the idea of the Mega Game, but I'd only play it with 5 players. Overall, a simple, seemingly small expansion introduces inventive changes to the original Ticket to Ride, opening new opportunities to enjoy this classic. However, my favourite thing about this expansion is that it provides a whole new deck of carriage and ticket cards in a bigger format than the original game, making the game simply prettier.
If you have the standard USA Ticket to Ride, this expansion is a must. We bought the original game about 6 months ago and it became obvious and easy to tell which routes people had since we got to know the cards so well. This expansion pack has a different twist option (instead of just longest train, there's a reward card for most destination cards achieved) and SO MANY new cards to use those cities like Raleigh and St. Louis that don't show up in the original game. A must buy!

Each of us pick 2 train colors and intermingle the 2 colors as we build our trains, doubling a person's chances of reaching many blocked destinations because we can reach destinations by longer routes with the additional trains. We play until all the destination cards are gone....pick 4 at a time - must keep only 1, but often a person has already reached many of the destinations from previous routes. Secret is to pick 4 destinations each time your opponent picks because this expanded game offers 15 extra points to the person who reaches the most destinations. This expansion should have just been in the base game. Besides a few extra routes and scoring opportunities, the expansion changes out all of the cards from the base game with regular-sized playing cards. The base game comes with mini-sized cards that are not ideal. If you are buying Ticket to Ride, just buy this expansion at the same time. It makes a great game even better.
