Excellent value and great quality, simply does the job of toasting crumpets, raisin bread and toast quickly and efficiently.

Unfortunately this was faulty only worked twice normally & them the middle element was extra hot & burnt the bread on that side, then the next use it flared & flashed off.Am I’m the process of returning it.

It's ok, doesn't cook evenly and could do with a 'lift' as hard to get english muffins up from slots.

I put 1 star instead of no stars for this product only because I needed to so that I could complete the review.This product has a number of design faults, some of which may not meet the current AUS/NZ standards.This toaster does not have a mechanism to lift the bread/toast above the casing to enable safe removal. It requires placing a finger or foreign implement down into the toaster to extract the bread/toast. Given this model & all toasters carry a specific safety warning NOT to put anything into the body of the toaster, whether plugged in or not, I am astounded this design fault could meet the standards that apply to these products. It toasts but use your imagination how to get the toast out of it.

It is a bid primitive but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Useless

When you do eventually get the thing to stay down, DON'T bump it. It'll pop right back up, and then it'll take another dozen tries to get it to stay down. When it is down, it's multiple choice on how well it toasts, only WE don't get the choice. But it did work well with one thing, when I was doing my Olympic Hammer Thrower imitation. It flew BEAUTIFULLY

Toaster plastic panelling was cracked when packaging opened. It's a basic toaster, no frills bells or whistles.
