This cage and handle ****. It’s obvious the people at Tilta didn’t even use this product before manufacturing it. The handle will not ratchet down tight enough on the NATO rail so it isn’t secure. The cage wasn’t built high enough above the cameras hotshoe so you can only use the handle facing one direction. There is no ARRI locating pin on top (hence the need for the NATO rail). It’s poorly engineered. Skip it.

I just had to add this here as the experience from the review before me had me slightly worried. At first I was a little worried about how solid the handle would be since it didnt "screw" down but I also liked how it was a quick release. I have to say I am impressed by the design. The handle fits perfectly and solidly, it also has spring loaded metal stoppers to ensure it doesnt fall off if not tightened down. The cage was also exactly what I was looking for giving me everything I needed in a small lightweight form factor. Super happy.

Cage itself is fine. NATO rail fit fine. Top handle does not fit NATO rail. I have other accessories from other brands that fit without issue. Top handle does not fit on other third party NATO rails either. I would purchase the cage again: definitely not the handle
