I'm very happy with the Chestnut Slim. I'm grinding for espresso, and getting reasonable results. Now I need to upgrade other parts of my set-up to keep up with the consistent and reliable fine grind that this grinder produces. And what a great price I got from Sigma Coffee UK.

Efficient service. Packaging like a top range mobile. Looks and feels like a well made piece of kit. Early days still but I enjoy the grinding process, the feel and the sound is satisfying. Used the 10 clicks back recommended, didn't seem especially fine but produced a decent cup. Surprised to find my regular scoop of beans seems to result in the right amount ground? I only have to make coffee for one mainly (sad) so perfect for me.

really super grinder for what it is! even capable of basic espresso recipes although not as versatile there as the comandante for example. very fast grinder, fits inside the aeropress (my use for it). excellent build quality. only the grinds jar connection at the bottom feels a little bit rough. wonderful to use and a nobrainer at this price point. grinding 11g medium fine for aeropress on about 30s.

My first manual grinder so I cannot compare to alternatives. It seems well made and produces a very consistent grind.Excellent service from Sigma, delivered as promised, on time, well packaged and at a good price compared to elsewhere.
I love this grinder. It’s super slim and fits inside my AeroPress plunger (sticks out the top a bit but…)This grinder is as easy to use as everyone says it is and it’s pretty fast. I am grinding 20 grams for a 340ml (12oz) cup in less than a minute and with minimal effort. The grinds are more consistent than what my Baratza Encore can produce and the coffee I brew with it tastes just like it should.I only wish I would have sprung for the fold-down handle. That would have made storage a little more convenient.
Good results but limited capacity
This grinder looks and feels very high quality, grinds coffee quickly, and fits nicely in the top of my Aeropress. No experience of customer service but the product itself I cannot fault.
