My 2 month has found this mat really engaging from early on. However, the only flaw for me is the musical lion - the music can only be activated by hitting the head (not the tummy like the image suggests) and it needs quite a bit of force. My little one will now hit the lion and nothing happens, it will only come on with an adults help. It seems like little thought has gone into the design of this.

Our little boy is just a month old so we haven't had plenty of use yet, but he's very engaged with it when we have used it. We have used it at diaper change time as well as just for fun, and he seems to be entertained by it.It's very easy to lay out and fold away. Not had to clean it yet so I can't say about that.Looking forward to him exploring everything about it - sounds, textures, and seeing his own reflection.Would be nice if it came with a bag so we can get rid of the box - but those are "first world problems" and it doesn't affect how good the product is.
