I love the way flowers work with leather. The leather is maybe more intense and feels more natural than in Tuscan Leather, but it’s a softer more pleasant leather, like a suede if that makes sense! Apart from the leather, I get a mild spicy, fruity jammy/tobacco nuance which I think comes from the interplay between the cardamom, jasmine and amber adding just a touch of sweetness. The jasmine is not too noticeable, but it must be what's giving it a soft, bright feel. There's also a slightly dry even bitter quality I believe is the patchouli and oakmoss. Even though that jasmine wasn’t really prominent in the middle stage, became very dominant in the dry down and I think it works well in here. To me there's nothing really animalic about the scent, unless you're not used to leather scents in general. This is what Batman would wear, this is mysterious sexy and alluring, and women love it...let me rephrase that: everyone loves it! A very well blended fragrance! OL is powerful and long lasting, I get strong projection and silage in the first 4-5h and about 10h longevity , still smell it as skin scent after 12-15h. Very versatile like I said in the beginning, spring, fall and winter in any casual and formal occasions.

This is probably in my top 3 favorite fragrances. It has nice projection and longevity. It smells like a soft leather with a nice touch of sweetness. I layer this with Cremo's Vintage Suede, and also with some other fragrances from time to time. I typically spray about 6 sprays, 4 on skin and 2 on clothes, and it lasts over 8 hours. I truly think this is a fully unisex fragrance, but you definitely have to like leather. It's not like a new car leather or new shoe leather. It's definitely a fancier softer leather. It's hard to describe, but it smells like how it feels to have a perfectly soft leather jacket on your skin. I feel the lather, jasmine, and cardamom are the key players here.

This is the first time I've tried a Tom Ford fragrance and I absolutely get why Tom Ford has such a hefty price tag. Wow. Personally I find this leans more masculine or really sexy/sensual date night for a woman. Very fruity freshly spritzed, settles quick into that favorite old leather jacket smell, gets a little bit more floral and musky after ten or fifteen minutes (on me at least). Mature but not even remotely powdery. I'm a total fragrance novice and even I can tell the difference in quality. I've tried on Dior J'Adore, YSL Libre, and Carolina Herrera's Good Girl and they're nowhere close to this. Not really my scent, but I'm blown away by how good it is. I redeemed my certificate from a holiday perfume sampler to get this scent, which I was surprised that I loved. I am normally a fresh fruity floral or citrus person, and I never lean towards anything too warm or masculine. But this scent is both of those things, and it's gorgeous. I've never described a scent as sexy before because I thought that was weird, but this definitely is. It's a perfect evening scent or something to bring out for a special event - I wouldn't wear this every day. But it makes you feel expensive, luxurious, and mysterious. It lasts until you shower it off - two sprays is more than enough. The edp projects nicely and lasts a long time. That sweet berry-spice opening note is accentuated by the smooth leather with a dry down that is creamy, woody and earthy. This is my go-to grown up scent whether on a date, going out for drinks with the lads, or even at the office. Two sprays is all you need for a mild projection, a confident sillage, and last skin scent for when people get close. Mostly positive reactions although a few noted that the leather smell was a bit challenging. This has the longevity of the EDP while dialing back the scent strength/projection. In return for a reduction in strength/projection, you get a fuller, more complete scent profile by the same perfumer that designed the EDP, rounded off with some mixed florals, cedar and orris (iris root) to make this THE leather fragrance for fall/winter time. This is Parfum concentration and stayed on my test strips without fading for close to 2 days. Some may say it’s a bit expensive but those who own it will tell you it’s worth every penny. Very difficult to move up from this without jumping into niche territory. This is the Matte black bottle with black lettering on white background, and white TF lettering on the top of the cap. The EDP is all black with white lettering on black background.

I was very excited about this then very disappointed. There was practically no projection and even less longevity. Ombre Leather smelled sweet. If I put my nose right to his skin I could pick up other notes but it faded quickly. I've been a fragrance collector/wearer all my life, so has my partner. He wears cologne very well. His skin is perfect for it. He's worn many high-end colognes in our 36 years together. This is probably the worst one of them all. Simply nothing there. We went back to an old favorite that is fabulous right out of the gate and 12 hours later still amazing. Sorry to say Tom Ford does not perform at all.
