Like all your recent reviews we are having the same trouble with the filters. We have followed all the instructions but it simply isn’t working! We have brought 4 filters and thrown 2 away as we thought it was a bad batch, these are not cheap and isn’t acceptable. Please advise how you are resolving this issue asap. Up until this point I couldn’t speak highly enough of this machine but as you can imagine once you get use to using this it becomes a massive inconvenience when you have a hungry baby! And if the product has gone through a change in design the QC process is in need of a review, specially when you are dealing with little Babies it just isn’t acceptable.Thank you and look forward to your quick response.Jay.

Seems like this is a running theme at the moment, we've just gone to change our filter within our day/night prep machine, followed the guidelines, only to have no water flow through the filter, tried with the second batch and again, no luck. Bought another two pack as noticed the design has changed and after speaking to someone on the phone, we got somewhere, or so I thought. Put new filter in, water flowing, success, completed two bottles, only for the machine to say we now need to change the filter again. Certainly didn't expect to have to deal with these issues, when the whole purpose of buying the machine in the first place is to make things easier for parents. Really disappointing Tommee Tippee.

We've started having the same issue as all the recent reviews currently on here, where the filters are not working anymore as most of the holes are covered up. The water does slowly filter through but at about 1 tenth of the pace as the previous filters which now means you have to plan 2 days ahead to make sure you have enough filtered water in the machine for bottles to be made.I see Tommee Tippee have made no effort to respond to this issue on here to reassure people that this is what is expected with the current batch of filters and that it would be resolved going forwards, or if this is how the filters will always work.At present we're tempted to find an alternative bottle maker.

The new replacement filters don't seem to be plug and play like any other filter on the market.The initial filter that came with the machine worked easily, submerged it in water and the carbon dust came out. This is something you're supposed to do with any water filter. Then pop it in the machine filtered a couple of jugs of water then it's good to go.The new filters however are bizzarre, it doesn't seem to be the holes that everyone is banging on about. It's the carbon filter inside. Something is wrong with it, the answers from the reviews say tap it for a little while on it's side. It's either a settling issue or a Tommee Tippee is saying a mesh issue. Either way they aren't broke and need to be tapped. For the price point however the tapping should not be a step and at least put it in the instructions.Tommee Tippee normally produce decent products and this does let them down as a brand in my opinion. I'm normally impressed with their products but this change in supplier is not good.

I thought we were doing something wrong until I looked at all the below reviews. We’ve loved our machine for the past 3 months, it’s made bottle feeding life so much easier but now we’ve needed to replace the filter we are so disappointed! It’s taking forever to filter through the water, we’ve bought two thinking they were faulty or we had done something wrong. Not looking forward to trying to make a very hangry baby a bottle with this in the middle of the night! Please return the old filters else everyone is wasting hundreds of pounds on machines that are no longer useable!

Issues with latest version

Bought a single replacement filter yesterday in boots, when I went to fit it I noticed it looked slightly different (only two holes of the top blue part were open, compared to the previous one I had which had all holes open). Replaced it but the water would not go down. Rang Tommee Tippee who said it’s a new version and you have to submerge it in water, then shake for 30 seconds, then tap it, and repeat the same process. When I’ve done this it is so messy and when shaking dark water comes out. Needs changing back to the original, hard work!
