I love the color and fit of this Tom Hilfiger polo. It has a classic 2 button look. It is very well made and has nice features like an extra button and a sweat band inside the color. The only real negative is the complete lack of washing instructions. Hidden inside the shirt are 3 four inch long tags in many languages. Instead of telling how to wash the shirt it gives an 800 number. That’s weak. Made in Bangladesh in case that matters to you

I’ve had the Tommy Hilfiger IM 1985 Classic Polo in a dusty, denim blue for about a week. I got in my normal size and it fits true to size and very comfortably. It’s a very good looking, stylist and professional polo that can be worn with jeans or dressed up for meetings. I really like the color blue. It washes well and kept its size and shape when I hung it up to dry. The fabric is a tiny bit scratchy but was better after washing it. I would buy these in other colors. I really like it and will wear it many times!

My latest product to review is the IM 1985 Classic Polo by Tommy Hilfiger. I really like this shirt!! It fits me perfectly and is so comfortable to wear. Tommy Hilfiger brand makes a true classic polo shirt. I have worn the shirt many times. It has also been washed several times and after each washing, the shirt looks good as new. It has maintained its shape and did not shrink, nor has the color faded at all. I have several polo shirts (not Tommy Hilfiger brand) and so often the collar will not lay flat after so many washings. I do not have that problem with this polo, as it is made from quality fabric. Easy care instructions include machine wash and machine dry on a light setting. I do really like this black Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt.

Tommy is synonymous with classic, and the iconic brand’s polo is a staple in anyone’s closet. The material is of fine quality with durable threads. It even feels cool to wear on a hot summer day with a bathing suit. The only negative is the fit is too boxy for me. I am wearing a medium but a small and tall would be perfect. Regardless I adore it. And I wear pink on Wednesdays now.

Again Tommy Hilfiger clothing does another great polo, The style is great the comfort is great It is so well made great price . I find this polo to be very well sewn and designed .The fabric is very comfortable i enjoy wearing it because i can move freely in it and it does not bother my skin it seems to flex with my movement its a classic for sure. After washing the red polo no die came out it kept its color and was ascomfortable as the first time i wore it. It is a great value and well worth the price I would recommend Tommy Hilfiger to anyone that likes nice durable clothing.
My husband has worn these classic sit polos for years, I bet these run a little bit more snug than the original classic fit. I noticed that it had “1985” in the title of the shirt but I thought they were the same shirt. We ended up taking them back to a Macy’s store, talking to a salesperson about the change, but could not find a “classic fit” style that did not have the 1985 on the label. I finally had to get on the Tommy site and ordering them, and I will be honest, they did not have every many colors to choose from. I hope they are not fading the “classic fit” out forever.
This is a quality polo shirt. It is made of a tight cotton weave with 4% elastane to allow it to stretch for a more comfortable fit. It is cut wide in the shoulders for a broad shouldered person. The material feels nice against the skin. It a heavier material so beware if you are a person who runs warm. The only real negative I have is that the sleeves have a fitted ribbing on them. This gives the shirt a nice look but for someone with large biceps it is too constricting.
I love my new Tommy Hilfiger classic polo. It is truly a classic and looks timeless. It is also fashionable year-round - mine is pink which is perfect for the spring-summer season. It is of wonderful quality, made with a soft, breathable pique that washes wonderfully. It is a perfectly average fit, right where you'd want the size to be (mine is L). I love the design, which harkens back to Tommy's first golden era, the mid-80s, which was obviously a wonderful time in preppy clothing. Highly recommended for your wardrobe!+
This classic polo is a soft pink which goes great in the hot Florida sunshine. The fit is straight not narrow so helps hide a small belly bulge without a sloppy look. Very thin people may want to go with a tapered style but for the majority of people, this is the option. Length is average - not short but not overly long. Build is very good - solid stitching and good attention to detail. Last but not least, the fabric is thick enough to provide ample coverage even without an undershirt but still breathable and comfort even in hot weather.
