I bought these shoes less than 2 months ago and really liked them initially. I never wore them in rainy weather, or any other extreme conditions, and the shoes have started to break at the heel. Very disappointing.Have tried to contact John Lewis via the website, but whether I tried to submit the form it crashed.Also very disappointing.I expected more from both TOMS and John Lewis.

I treat myself to Tom's every summer and wear them till they become very tatty. I have a high instep so I always size up. I prefer this alpargata that has a ridged sole. The small elastic triangle on the instep makes them comfortable when you walk.

Difficult to find attractive & comfortable trainers for wide (...) feet. New to the Gym and needed trainers for Studio and Zumba. They provide reasonsable ankle support for 'circuits' exercises. Bought the Green/White model and have worn them to the Gym a few times. Really great fit with good leatherremovable insole for added comfort. Feels like walking 'barefoot'.Yes you definitely need 'size-up' in this footwear.
I probably have 30 pairs of alpargatas, so obviously I love them. Even with mild plantar fasciitis, these shoes are so comfortable! But this color... I've waited a decade for a pair of TOMS that were Kelly green. I should order a back up pair for when I wear these out.
Review is for fulfilment process. Ordered a white colour style at the sales register of the store and received a black colour shoe which colour is not available to be ordered. Wondered what went wrong. Can’t return it due to travels so will have to keep it.
I have come to the conclusion that the people who like this must have teeny, dainty feet, because I went for my usual sizing and, even in a now larger size, the size doesn't fit fully. My left shoe is noticeably smaller, for example, and the shoe is overly narrow, even for a regular fit. I had to return by true size. I'm hoping that those I've kept can be worn in and the canvas pushed out a little, however the canvas is quite hard. So, my recommendation is only get these if your feet are actually smaller than the norm.
The pair of shoes looks nice, the colour is great, only thing is that is heavier than my other pair of same model shoes, also a bit wider than my other pair... Who knows what's the difference since they are the exact same model?I will keep them as no reason to return, will use something to make them a bit more tight, otherwise they are like flip flops 😅
They are such a good fit. I have been wearing Toms for many years and so have my girls. We have had many colors and various styles. They last forever. Crafted well ~ Thank you. I will wear them well
Love these new light green toms. They are more blue/green. Nice fit as decided to go up a size as I always buy size 5 and they can feel tight in hotter weather. So let’s see how we go with size 6. They do feel more comfortable at the moment just hope they don’t stretch to much.
