I bought this skateboard for my son for Christmas. I'm not happy about it, I should of done more research. The board itself is really nice and it's heavy duty wood. But the wheels, trucks, and bearings are crappy. The board barley rolls. I had to spend a few more dollars to get better wheels, trucks and bearings so my son can enjoy his skateboard. I would not recommend this site to buy a skateboard.

Tony Hawk 360 series Utopia Mini skateboard.A great setup for the price. The deck itself seems of good quality, and the shape is good. It has a gently concave so a good beginner deck. The trucks also are good quality and have decent geometry to allow good turns. The bad points are the truck bushings… they are far to hard for young riders. Even me at 70kg struggled to make tight turns on the board. I have changed mine for Independent super soft 78a bushings and they are now perfect for my 10 year old to be able to carve and turn properly. The supplier Tony Hawk wheels are also not great (like a lot of beginners boards) they are also too hard and a very slim design. I have also changed these to a set of conical 99a wheels I already had. Now the setup (in my ... MoreTony Hawk 360 series Utopia Mini skateboard.A great setup for the price. It is a great starter skateboard. The board will be assembled with the plastic still on it so in the special notes request that they take it off before they assemble it. As my husband pointed out the wheels won't spin forever like a higher end board would but with that being said we knew this when buying a board at this price. It is GREAT for a kid who wants to try skateboarding and you don't want to spend too much on something they may not use again. Also the board is great so if they great better you can keep the board and upgrade the parts.

The Hawk deck is usable. The trucks and wheels went straight to the dumpster. Now with proper trucks and wheels this deck is in use with good shape and decent pop. This complete is like buying a deck from a sk8 shop and accessories from Walmart. This was intended to be a board for friends/family that visit without a board and it cost me another $50 to set it up safe and usable. No child or beginner should ever ride wheels harder than 92a and trucks with a 50 ft turning radius.
Compared to the Amazon board I got my daughter first which was a very similar price this complete board by Tony Hawk is sooo much better! Feels solid ready to go straight out of the box. A brilliant board to get her started on and will last a long while further I’d say.
It only rides smoothly on super smooth tarmac. We found the ride very rough and hard-going on the street. I would suggest that this is because the wheels are a bit small and there isnt much contact to the ground.I am not an expert, but I anticipated that a skateboard is meant to be able to cruise the street right? Just our opinion. Looks good though and price is competitive.
Bought this for my four year old to learn on with my boyfriend. Both of them can use with ease. Looking forward to my little one learning and seeing them bond together! Really happy with my purchase.
Really good quality and exactly as described. It's a gift for my nephew next month so it's not been used yet but seems sturdy and well-made. The wheels look like they will take plenty of battering by a 9 year old! The design on the bottom ilooks awesome - bright colours and very sharp. I like that the whole of the top of the board is grippy rather than just at the ends as it will grow with him. I'm really really pleased with it 😄
I purchased this skateboard for my 10 year old son. The board was delivered quickly, in perfect condition on receipt and appears to be the right size for his age (as recommended by the website). He has had a lot of fun with it.
Stylish and quality product. Just right size for 8 year old beginner. Am confident that it will wear well and that if I have problems Skatehut will help me sort them not that I expect any.
