Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 (Xbox One)

I've been a Tony Hawk game fan since it the beginning... I have to say this game though is one of the most disappointing games I have ever played.... It's bad enough that the game as far as play went backwards and you can't do nearly as much as you could on the last ones but also it is 5 years old and still coat almost $30 but you can only play the first level... I've been able to play the other levels only one time even though I have them unlocked it won't start a match in them. I'm guessing because it has to be played online and I'm assuming there isn't enough people online. Not completely sure. But definitely extremely disappointed with this one.... Activision and Tony Hawk you guys are better than scamming people out of their money!!!

I had high hopes for this game I really wanted to like it. My husband and I bought this game because we wanted to play it together but then we found out we couldn't play split screen which was a huge disappointment. Also the older style of "2 directions and an action button" special moves were gone which is what made it play mord fluidlike back in the day and the graphics were too in your face.There was a lack in customization and levels just weren't all that exciting. I've waited for a long time for a potential patch, but it seems the developers have cast this game aside also, labelling it a failure and leaving it at that. So we end up with a half baked game that nobody should have ever paid full price for.

Amazing blast from the past remastered.

2 games in 1. Many hours of entertainment. A lvling system that goes well with the game and rewards you for just skating around and doing tricks, daily challenges. Lots of skater customization from clothing to boards to customized avatar. 5 open customizable character slots. Online gameplay for people that want to challenge other skaters online. Couch co op for playing with friends.

Bugs all fixed

So when this title first came out it had some terrible bugs and other problems but the makers managed to fix them all. Now this game rocks and I have spent many days trying to beat every challenge. There are loads. Lots of easy ones and many more that you can't beat because they are so sick. The picture is great and the controlling is very smooth.

Fun for a few hours if you're a fan of the Tony Hawk games, but doesn't have the replayability as the older titles.

Definitely not the best Tony Hawk game. A bit uninspired, but it has a some of the charm of the old games. It took away a lot of the features that previous games had. I like the stage challenges and the idea of more co-op online play, but this late after it's released to actually know if it's good (no ones online). Additionally the additional characters are a pretty cool selection. Happy with it for the price I paid since it's an older game and the quick delivery. Would probably have been disappointed if I had paid the full price for it when it was originally released.

Good Value

Satisfied buyer. As described on listing for a good price. Looking forward to playing it! The last time I ever played Tony Hawk was waaaaay back on the beginning generations of Playstation. Loved it! Good memories! Won't have to reminisce much anymore. Haha.

Good, but not as good as the original

Good game; very nostalgic. The controls feel more clunky than the original, but the graphics are obviously ten times better on the PS5 than PS1. It's worth the price of admission, but I wouldn't pay more than that.

No split screen mode

I knew this game had had bad reviews, but I thought "how bad can it be as long as you can play against your mates". I know I should have checked before purchase but I just took it for granted that any Tony Hawk game should have a split screen mode. Unfortunately, this doesn't. It's like they went out of their way to make a Tony Hawk game that would annoy people.That said, the recent updates have fixed many of the well documented graphical glitches, and the physics and gameplay do seem true to the original, which is why I'm not giving it one star. There is also online multi player mode, but as any fan of the series will tell you, it isn't the same.

The worst game so far this year

But instead of making a game here it appears what Activision have done here is cobble together a few interns to make the game on a friday evening because this is honestly one of the most incoplete, unpolished, downright awful games I have EVER played in my 18 years of living. Heck one of them even says they "doesnt know why the game is getting such bad reviews like its predecessors which indicates 2 things: 1. They have not played pro skater 5, at all. 2. They did also not player 1,2 and 3 because they were very well reviewed and generally excelent games. My conclusion: DO NOT BUY EVEN FOR YOUR WORST ENEMY!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 - PS5

Such a nostalgic throwback to the original Tony Hawk games. packed with challenges, great music as well as loads of new features. Definitely worth playing!
