It was fairly easy to put together and works great

Bought this to raise a heavy window that needed to be slide into an opening for installation in a wall. Worked perfectly and allowed easy positioning to the exact level required and did not cost much more than I would have had to pay to hire a lifter for a day (which may not even have managed to fit in the small area I had to work within. I only mark this down to 4 stars because there is no provision to store the accessories (particularly the locking rod) on the lifter body - all it would have taken was to have another set of holes.
