Bought this one to replace the one i bought about 10yrs ago thats still ok but starting to show sogns of wear. These are durable ans functional and stand up to lots of use.

A painted metal case makes it more durable. Plenty of removable trays means versatility. I own cases that cost three times as much. Yes they may German quality, but as with other Supercheap items that I own; these boxes represent good value for what I paid and are working well. Happy with my choice.

I have about 3 of these and will build a stacking setup for them.I need to be able to buy more bins to help with the layouts i want. I need more small Blue ones.Anyone know where you can buy extras?
As many have commented, the middle button is a pest, both when you are shutting the case and opening it. BUT once shut, these things will carry a lot of nuts, bolts, screws and washers or indeed anything else that fits in perfect safety. I have even dropped one or two and not had them spring open. 99.9% goodie.
Sadly the the storage boxes were put in one card board box which has caused scratches on all the lids because the all rubbed together. Very poor packaging.
Don’t mess about with the plastic versions save time and grab these. Almost as good as my more expensive brand names ones. Only thing that lets it down is the quality of the release button, but that won’t stop me buying another.
A very strong container that was Very handy for transporting valuables while I was moving recently and will be very handy on the workshop

The storage cases are great and do what I needed them to do. The kids of the cases that I bought were scratched quite a bit but it doesn’t affect their function.
