Used the 1/2 inch for the first time to take out an alternator bolt 14mm and the 1/2 inch was slipping as it would not lock. It keeps clicking amd thats all it does. The direction button was also checked and was correctly set to make sure it was set all the way but no luck. Defective product. At least for the set I got.

Comparing this set against what i normally use (snap-on) and what i have used (Sp-tools, KC tools) Its so far very very good even compaired to those brands, i use those expensive brands at work, and comparing it to them, its obviously not as good, but for the price compared to those its Excellent!ratchets feel solid, sockets feel pretty well made, sizes are marked very well on the sockets and although the breaker bar is on the shorter side its still a very good bar.Overall for the price its just as good as kc, and sp tools.

Fantastic quality kit bought it as a "home based kit" as the rest of my tools are at the workshop being a mechanic by trade I needed / wanted a kit that was decent enough and vast enough to do EVERYTHING around the house without raiding the workshop!The quality of this kit would be nearly as good as kingchrome / Stanley which blew me away! I love the fact that even the 1/4 drive ratchet has locking for sockets resulting in no more dropped 10mm sockets!!Highly recommend this kit, esp for home use / car kit.

Great kit of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 drive socket set with practically every size for a DIY mechanic. Only thing it doesn't have is long/deep sockets. Quality also seems of a good standard. We will see how they hold up over time.
Bought it on half price during promotion... Great value for money.. Quality is excellent... A must have for DIY guys and professionals.. You can't get that heavy and fully loaded CRV set from anywhere else.. Others may fool you by saying 100+ pieces by putting in cheap L-keys, screwdrivers and other cheap tools in the set. So only look for how many pieces are in there purely made of CRV steel.
Great quality - far better than the tools I've owned in the past. Got it half price, so a great deal.
I like toolpro for quality. I have done some HD stuff and have not broken a toolpro tool yet. That being said I had to retire my toolpro sockets and replace them with Stanley so I can see the size of the socket. toolpro sizes are so small it's hard to read.
I love the tools however, the red plastic insert and cheap and has now cracked after 18 months and drives me insane. Other than that can't fault the tools. Probably wouldn't buy it again and look for another tool pro kit with a solid plastic card that isn't likely to crack the way it did. Open one up before you buy it and you'll see what I mean.
Quite a solid socket set, good value for monet. Suits everything from bikes, to motor cycles to cars.
Variety is awesome- feel & use is good.Generally a real good quality socket set except for the inconsistent chrome finish on the inside of some sockets & the thin cheap plastic mold which is the main thing which lets this great set down. But good news-has a lifetime warranty. Looks like I’ll be returning this one soon as it’s already failing
