Use these for setting on the angle right on the buffer. Cheap way to get the job done !
This is a perfect upgrade for my elderly Tormek super grind 1200. It's much more convenient for turning tools, especially long tools like bowl gouges. It also gives the opportunity for light, pull cuts rather than more aggressive push cuts. I chose two mounting positions, one by the book and another offset to the opposite side to give more placement options on the honing wheels. It has to be reversed when fitting in the non-standard position for the angled fixing knob to clear the stone. When exposed, the additional holes are plugged with additional screws of my own. Great bit of kit, well worth the trouble to set it up carefully, square to the stone.
The tool performs the task for which it is intended well.
