Torriden - Cellmazing Vita C Brightening Ampoule - 30ml

I got this as part of the giveaway and have been using it almost everyday for about three weeks. I use it in the morning under my sunscreen. I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts but this has caused me no breakouts or clogged pores. The texture is very thin and watery but not too runny. I can't comment on its brightening quality as that is not what I'm after and I haven't used it for long. I mostly look to vitamin C serums as an antioxidant to boost my sun protection during the summer. My other experience with vitamin C has been the ordinary and cosrx. While I really liked the cosrx one this has been easier to use and has no smell. I'll continue to use the bottle and will write another comment at the end of it.

I very much wanted to like this product because it is so lightweight, and I received it for free from Yesstyle! However, it does not do much for me except give me closed comedones. It also contains two ingredients that can flare up Malassezia, and if you're prone to Fungal Acne outbreaks, please proceed with caution. The ingredients are: Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Palmitate), and Isopropyl Myristate (this has a 5/5 comedogenic rating). Though I enjoyed the texture of this product, I really wish the product came in a better sealed container, such as an airless pump, as otherwise can cause oxidation rendering this product useless.

This is the first vitamin C serum that didn't feel like it was sizzling my skin! I had a hyperpigmented area on my left cheek that just was refusing to go away even though I'm using Trentinoin 0.1%. This serum made that spot go away and really quickly too. I knew vitamin C helped with that, but I really didn't expect the serum to be THAT effective. Within a month the hyperpigmented patch went away and my skin looks so much brighter because of it.I loved this serum and that it is so effective, while also being very gentle.
