Tough Built - TB-CT-41 Padded Belt For Professionals Durable Buckle

Nice solid belt, with plenty of padding so it's comfy with even a heavy pouch attached. Built quality is excellent. Comes with a zip-off section and also a metal end cap, so you can adjust/trim the belt to fit and not have tons of excess material flapping around.Also has attachment points if you want to add a set of braces at a later date.

This tool belt is very comfortable to wear and nicely supports your back. Would rate it 5 stars were it not for fact that hard plastic belt clasp is too stiff. This makes it not very easy to unbuckle the belt. You have to work at it a bit.After having used ToughBuilt gear for a bit now, I have distinct impression that the manufacturers have concentrsted on the product being really tough built. They have succeeded very well with this, but this success comes at expense of ergonomic factors such as skinning fingers on tough plastic bits and grazing hands on tough and very stiff pouches.

A belting bit of kit.

An excellent tool belt. The ClipTech system is great; so easy to switch from one pouch to another.The belt is a little stiff at first and needs "breaking in".I went back a few days later to get the suspenders as the weight of tools in two pouches meant the belt was slipping. The suspenders sorted that issue.

Belt & Braces

Top notch tool belt. Pair it with the braces for even better support (pretty much essential if you hang a nail gun or other heavy items off it).I love the versatility of the Clip Tech system only have the pouches you need for the job on the belt.

By far the best tool belt I've owned.

Everything is just so simple. I keep a range of their products in the back of my van. They clip on and just clip off. Really comfortable belt and adjustable to someone who seriously needs to lose weight.

Great piece of kit

Great for ladder and general use. Good accessories and flexibility. As a DIY person who is doing lots of things renovating a house single handed this is great for general use as well as on ladders.

Impressive

Got this belt when my old padded belt started shredding. I was worried about the plastic clip, but after weeks of using this daily for work I'm not. The clip is highest quality plastic I've seen and very thick.The padding on the belt is also thick and comfortable. This works perfectly with the toughbuilt clip pouches, which have become my favourite pouches. The belt is comfortable enough that it stays on the whole day. If I'm talking a break, I simply unclip the pouches and rest.Slowly, the other workers are starting to switch to this system after seeing the flexibility and convenience.

Needs to be improved

I like that the length is easily adjustable and the clip makes it convenient to take off and put on pouches. I'm giving it however only 2 stars due to the heavy padding not being breathable so I feel hot and sweaty around the waist after a while. Also, the padding that cushions the belt clips, seems too bulky as it gets in the way when I need to bend at the waist. The design needs to be improved to have balance between functionality and comfort.

Probably could do with a harness.

Buying this at the moment, plus pouches/etc. Probably could do with a shoulder harness for those of us with damaged backs or 'odd' (meaning no longer under 40's) body shapes.

WHY?? Didn’t I buy this years ago!

Oh wow! Why hadn’t I discovered this years ago! Just ace having all your tools around your waist! Superb for ladder work and the system is great too! I’m so glad I bought this!
