You will notice I am not the only one with this exact issue. I had a level load of plywood totaling roughly 1500lbs. My lead carpenter snapped a line on the top piece and as soon as the weight of his saw (15lb Hypoid) was added, the horses collapsed. Thankfully he was able to get out of the way before serious injury. I reached out to Toughbuilt (took 3 tries to even get a response) and my warranty was denied. By using the sawhorses for the intended purpose, I was told it is not covered under their LIMITED warranty. How limited is it? Products aren't supposed to be used for their intended purpose? I'm baffled by the avoidance Toughbuilt has taken in this situation. No tool company has ever denied a claim (few and far between anyways). While made of thick plastic and tucks away into a slot on the top, I can see this breaking one day into the future, that's the nature of plastic I guess, probably sooner if stored in a hot shed. Might have been nice to see an old fashioned thick rope instead, they outlast plastic- Expensive. I bought 2, at $99 each, they are somewhat on the pricey side. Maybe $70 would have been better (I have no idea of the cost to make them, every piece of metal is thick (except for one tiny section where it doesn't matter)I hope to get 10+ years out of these and looking a the construction I don't see why I wont

Excellent pair of saw horses/ table. Well made, well built. Will accept 2x4 or 4x4 braces and have the addition of a flip up ledge to raise the supports to the same height as a sacrificial top piece. Pivoting feet pads with good rubber soles and the ability to adjust the legs independently from each other helps on uneven ground. Flip out supports at the top edge for trimming studs, and flip down supports on the lower legs for holding sheet goods are an interesting addition. Downsides: They are heavy (24lb?), but are very stable because of that. The recessed, in-built carry strap is on the top edge, but if using a sacrificial top piece, are completely hidden. Handles on the inside would be better, but are a simple enough retrofit idea. Overall, at this price (far ... MoreExcellent pair of saw horses/ table. Well made, well built. Sturdy, Robust Quality Sawhorses
5 September 2022

Initially bought a pair to lay doors on. outside, while adjusting/painting as part of a house renovation. Ideal, very solid, sturdy, robust and simple to open/close once done a couple of times. Also found the independently adjustable legs very useful for uneven ground, saved having to block/chock under the feet. Positive I will find lots more uses for them as my DIY continues. Disadvantages are the cost. I would not consider buying for a single task but given sturdy nature I should get years of use and hence value from them. The second disadvantage is probably weight but I doubt they would be as robust without. Overall quality robust kit that should last years.

I picked up a pair of these, I bought having read the reviews. I picked up one and thought this is solid. I unpacked and assembled the saw benches and they are as the feel solid and substantial. Clearly designed by someone who uses them. They have thought of every little detail. I am only a DIY user and thought I was being extravagant buying these but I am so pleased I did. If you like quality tools you need these. Solid Sturdy Splendid.

Quick to set up and easy to use, they save time and my back when doing any jobs involving breaking down large sheet stock. A must for any professional needing to work with large boards, and I would say essential for DIY users undertaking serious projects.Setup is easy - the instructions are powdercoated onto the sawhorses. My one niggle is that both horses in my first purchase had warped legs when deployed (which also made the legs hard to open), this was due to a slight error in manufacture. My second set were much better. Folding them up is a little trickier - the feet tend to flap around and make it awkward, but I am sure that this is just a matter of practice. In use, sacrificial 2x4s placed across the top of them (and between the pair) turn them into a ... MoreQuick to set up and easy to use, they save time and my back when doing any jobs involving breaking down large sheet stock. Slap some OSB or ply on top and you've got a table you can bolt a drill press to if you need to. I'd be very surprised if I need a new set of sawhorses for a very very long time.

ToughBuilt C700/2 Adjustable Saw Horse Trestle Bench - Twin Pack
3 May 2022

I have been using a pair of DeWalt saw horses and a very clever MacAllister table but I wanted something that was height adjustable, with a heavier load rating and a bit more versatility. These ToughBuilt horses are very clever being well thought out with fold-out supports on which to rest boards and higher ones for timber. Extendable brackets at each to hold beams are also very useful. The only downside is the weight but that’s because they’re so robust. Great bit of kit.

These are excellent trestles. They are really compact for storage but easily and quickly unfold when required. They are ultrastable and extremely well designed for use with little flip out holders to hold sheets etc The adjustable legs allow setting to a comfortable height for me to work as well as compensating for uneven ground. The addition of two wooden runners makes a very solid and steady workbench. You have to supply your own runners but that allows you to select lengths that suit you. The end holders can take runners up to 95 mms wide which allowed me to fit a vice to the runner . The finish is excellent and I see no weaknesses or anything to quibble about. I would recommend them for both their quality and usefulness.

Toughbuilt c700 saw horses
1 January 2022

Never thought I would buy a set of horses, always made my own. I needed a new set of heavy duty saw horses and was getting ready to build some when I saw a video on these. I gambled and ordered them. Just finished my first day using them and I'm pretty pleased. They do everything my tricked out homemade horses do but are easier to handle and fold up into a small package when not in use. My old horses took up lots of room. I was concerned about folding horses being strong enough and folding up under a load but after today, I'm not worried about that. With the crazy price of lumber today, the cost of building vs buying these was a lot closer than it would have been a couple years ago. It's nice to get something that actually does what it says it will.

I bought two of these around April Of 2022 and used them the entire summer and fall remodeling 2 different homes. I used them literally every day for 2 months straight and found them to be a very good quality. Once you get a hang of it, the set up and adjustments is pretty quick. The only thing that I would mention is that they’re pretty heavy, but that’s because they’re made so well. Since I’ve had these C-700, I find myself comparing them to other brands when I’m in the tool section at other stores. I haven’t seen any that I would rather have than these by Toughbuilt. I’m not getting paid for this review, I just appreciate really good thought out tools that are useful and quality made.
