Bought these TP-LINK router/modem mesh system, as holiday house has FTTN NBN, VDSL. WAN connection is RJ11, not RJ45 so I was limited on what I could buy. Besides from being the best in a bad lot, I can monitor my network when not at home, and it has a firewall, for a Subscription that helps with security.

I bought this modem after a lightning strike took out our old one. It was supposed to be the bees knees, and instead it ended up being a complete nightmare. It constantly dropped out despite being set up properly. I checked forums and the like and ended up realising it was an issue with the particular model. Stupidly I threw out the box, or I’d Be returning the piece of garbage.

Great Modem. Easy setup and fast speeds. I bought this to replace the modem provided by TPG which had slowed and was absolutely choking my internet speeds (1mbs). As soon as I set it up, which was extremely straight forward, my speeds shot back up to 90mbs where they have maintained since. Only wish is that I'd bought this sooner.

Super easy to set up, works with FTTN NBN which was the main selling point. A bit pricey but totally worth it. I hope th use it for years. Antenna is on all bars around the whole 95 sq/m apartment. It has cool options like guest network and also lists all your devices that you can name. If ever you need more range it is compatible with a few mesh extenders. Highly recommended.
easy set up through app. Old modem had several dropouts a day. This has had none since install several weeks ago. Good wifi distance.
Pros: Compared to standard TalkTalk router that did not have the device throughput I need and was laggy and slow this is lightning fast. As well as more devices (Shows me 26 connected) connects at 100Mb and I get 75Mb down and 18Mb up on a “65Mb line”. My separate old 3rd party DSL router broke and kept disconnecting. Cons: There is a web based maintenance option as well as mobile one. Real techies may want some more configuration options. I’m reasonably techy and have all I need.

I bought this product as an urgent replacement for a modem router that failed. The setup from the mobile app was easy and connected within minutes. The range and speed of this product is impressive. Very happy!
No issues with this Router. I bought it to replace my Vodafone router/modem which was failing. Plugged it in and it pretty much worked. I had to contact online support for configuring it to Vodafone but that process went well.
Easy setup. Great wifi performance using AT&T 1gbs WAN and ethernet backhaul (average 400+mps and occasionally 700-800mps). Very reliable so far (one month).
