I got this to use for wifi in an ASUS mini-PC where the on-board Intel wifi garbage quit (like most Intel networking junk seems to, in those rare cases where it works to begin with). Frankly, given my history with TP-Link products and how cheap this was, I didn't have high expectations that it would even work. I'm amazed at how well this little guy works. For not having an antenna and just being a bump plugged in, it is incredible! Identified by Windows 10 without even using the included CD. Very nice TP-Link; seems you have come a long way over the years. I'll probably be giving you a shot again in future builds.

Bought this because I wanted to utilize our 5GHz band of our Wi-Fi, the device connected ok but only to 2.4GHz band. I tried Noel Leeming's free support and he couldn't help, so contacted TP-Link for support. After talking to 5 different so-called technicians and having to drag out a 2 weeklong email only (they only do email) laborious series of repeating myself, I gave up and returned it. TP-Link support is next to useless. I'm picking there's a lot of people out there that think they are using their 5GHz when they are actually not!

My old laptop's built-in wireless adapter died. This WIFI dongle is a good alternative. I like its size and the quality of the software: the physical size is very small, never shifted around when my laptop accidentally bumped into something. Its device driver (for windows 10) appeared to be well written, my WIFI connectivity was stable. I have to say that its transmission speed is slower than my old build-in WLAN card, but this dongle is a good alternative if you don't want to go through the hassle to replace the built-in device, especially for an old laptop.
I needed this for my workstation that curiously came with no Wi-Fi card. This was an easy solution for me. Basically, plug and play and gives me almost the same speed as ethernet. It's very small and inconspicuous. There were other options that cost more, but not sure if the higher cost would be warranted. This one was available in my local store, so I could get it immediately. Can't beat the value!
My laptop all of a sudden stopped recognizing any WiFi networks. Ed, the tech at Office Depot, immediately tried some fixes that didn't work, and then said it was no problem, as they had a wireless network adaptor (which I didn't even know existed). He tried it out on my computer, prior to my purchase, to make sure it worked. It did work, and I haven't had any problems with it. It simply plugs into the USB port, and my computer now works again.
I had an unfortunate computer incident involving a large glass of iced tea... After disassembling and reassembling my computer, my wifi card connection broke. I bought this adapter as a temporary fix until I could order a new card. It works perfectly. I don't notice any difference in my computer performance compared to my old internal card. The only reason I'll probably buy a new card is so I can free up a USB port. Otherwise, I'd just use this. It's much smaller than other wireless network adapters available. Very unobtrusive. INSTALLATION - I was connected to my network and internet via a wired cable when I first installed this. My computer recognized the new device and I didn't have to do ANYTHING to get set up.
Pick this up as needed a better wifi adapter for my pc. Plugged it in, installed the software that came with it (will need a cd drive for it). After checking the mbps speeds I was amazed at how fast it was compared to my old one. My old wifi adapter was laggy and slow however this wasn't the case for this adapter. Would highly recommend it for those who want to watch high quality videos and online gaming. Hopefully it stays like this for the coming years.

After one my pc's couldn't detect my wireless network after a router reinstall, this TP-Link AC600 was recommended. This was easy to install and immediately detected my wireless network. It set up a separate list of available networks, so my network was found on the 2nd list of networks. It really is plug and play, easy as 1, 2, 3. I searched for several similar products within my price range. This was the best value I could find. The best thing about this adapter is that it works.
