The camera picture on this doorbell is outstanding, even at night when set on full colour, you couldn't fail to see every detail, but after setting up, I'm getting notifications when home, but the minute I leave home I get zero notifications which renders it totally pointless, I went out yest for a meal and came home to a missed parcel card through my letterbox, if I'd recieved a notification I could have told the driver where to leave it, it's easy to set up and the quality is really good, you do have to buy a micro sd card which I did, sad it didn't work properly

The specs. of the camera are great and I think it's a good looking device. I like the SD card option for saving clips. But, the primary job of this doorbell is motion detection. It's extremely slow, I generally only see clips of people pressing the doorbell, whereas my older smart doorbell captured people, animals etc. at several meters away. I've set the motion settings all on and to max but it hasn't improved. I've asked Tapo for help but it's not going anywhere.
