I have 2 TP Link temperature monitors, one outside and one indoor. These devices give me readings when I need, from my handphone.
The sensor only works if you buy another device which acts as a receiver. This was not clear from the website and I've returned it.
Needs a hub to function (another $40). This is also out of stock. The fact that a hub is required was not mentioned on the website. Staff member I spoke to was very unsympathetic.
Works exactly as expected, unfortunately it seems some people don't research products before they buy them so they weren't aware it requires a hub to work. Currently using a few of them to control heating in different rooms to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the house.
