I added the Tapo Leak/Water sensors to my Smart Home set-up after also adding the doorbell and hub as the hub/chime unit is required to provide the connectivity for the leak/water sensors. As with the doorbell, I chose TP-Link so that I didn't require yet another app on my phone.Once the hub was added to the app, the leak/water sensors were added really easily. I find the Tapo step by step guides really intuitive and these were added within 2 minutes. I cant judge the battery life yet, but it uses standard aaa batteries, is pretty sensitive, one drop water would trigger it, it has a loud alarm, but can be a little quiet if you are installing it in basement etc. but you can use it as trigger for other tapo devices. for me it is perfect and i can easily recommend.
