Tractive GPS Dog 4 Tracker for Dogs

I truly could not manage my 3 Great Danes without your trackers. Nova, Dozer and Smoke.With your trackers I am able to open my front door and they all 3 go and run (free). With 600 acres they could easily get out of my comfort zone. I panic when the tractors have issues, like signal strength and I have to go find them.A very unusual plus I have with Nova is that when I see her traveling very fast away from home ( like possibly chasing a deer) when I push the signal button, she stops in her tracks and comes straight home. About trackers:2 years with Dog’s & Cat’s trackers 24/7 on.Dog’s one works almost perfect.. Problem can appear only if you’re in an area, hidden from GPS… it happened to me only in nature… pretty deep in nature 😏 where I live 🤣🤣and in 1,5 years the tracker almost died in a week, but here it was, for sure, my dog’s fault… I didn’t expect that it will live even so long in my “deep-deep nature” and a dog walking freely 20/7 🤦‍♀️🤣 My sweet boy is totally safe from any harm - relax! 😜Cat’s tracker is still alive 🥳 though my kitty adore to “wash” himself in dust and sand immediately after he walks out & it happens … every day 🤣🤣 so the tracker looks awful, but it’s still totally working 🤷🏻‍♀️👍🏻BUT careful use the collar! your cat will lose the tracker ... MoreAbout trackers:2 years with Dog’s & Cat’s trackers 24/7 on.Dog’s one works almost perfect.. I have been using this for several months now and can confirm that it performs well in most conditions. As with most available dog trackers, it relies on GPS for location and mobile cell networks to transfer this information to the user’s phone. An important feature is the ability to store the locations and thus the path of the dog. Even when general cell coverage is very poor, this information will be sent as soon as the device comes within range of a suitable network. I regularly check my historic dog’s path and distance and have been impressed by the accuracy of the GPS. The battery life appears very reasonable for the way I use it which is to switch the device off when my dog is at home.

Disappointing

If you want the premium subscription (which you most likely want to) you need to pay minimum 1 year in advance, its not monthly payments. Also when your dog is at home and it goes into power saving mode it saves battery which is great. But once your dog leaves your home it struggles to locate your dog and continuously thinks your dog is at home even though your dog is not. Once you manually delete your home on the app it will locate your dog which is time consuming and it will start to drain the battery fast and most likely the battery will not last one full day. After my 1 year subscription I plan to find a better dog tracker as I'm already regretting purchasing it. Honestly love it

I hesitated to buy this for a while, since it was a lot of money for me with the subscription cost too. I did a lot of research and finally took the plunge. I had some concerns about my dog running away, getting out or being swiped, but buying this product instantly stopped those concerns. This is so much more than just a tracker. It blew me away. It’s like a FitBit for dogs as well. It keeps track of how active my dog is, tracks her energy output, sets goals for her and even tracks her sleep/rest times. It inspired me to get her out for longer, so she’s healthier for it. I love the live tracking feature. I find it works really well and it’s so easy to locate her, so the peace of mind it gives is next level. You need to consider how any GPS products would work if you’re in a remote location, although I’ve done a lot of research on this product and heard quite a few people in remote areas had no issue. I love the battery saving feature where you can mark a “safe zone” for the product to go into power saving mode in. You can click a button to check that the product is still working and online while in the “safe zone”, which is helpful. It charges ridiculously quickly and a single charge can last days if your dog spends time in the “safe zone”. The corresponding app works incredibly well too. It’s not glitched once in months of use and works quickly and smoothly. This product was worth every cent. It’s so well designed and thought out, it’s such a smart little product. It’s slimline, succinct and stylish. I feel so much better when she has it on. I’ve gotten so many friends onto this product and everyone loves it. It’s absolutely worth it.
