There were huge chunks of gold paint missing on the nose of the jet and on the hands. Hasbro's gold paint is always an issue and it seems they don't plan to improve.
Excellent figure! Terrific update, I hope to see more transformers look this great!
Although this is a straight up repaint of the Skyquake figure, this version is great! The smaller "fins" on the shoulders tend to pop off of my Skyquake, but these are pretty solid on Dreadwing! For whatever reason, the toy just looks and feels better in the blue color scheme!
This fig pays homage primarily to the Prime Universe take on Dreadwing with a bit of the G1 toy's influence thrown in for good measure. Articulation is very good, including butterfly joints allowing him to better wield his large gun with both hands. Legacy Dreadwing converts into a jet, and his jet mode, while chunky, is well-executed, including retractable main and nose landing gears. Moreover, unlike many jet-formers, the bot 's limbs are well integrated into the transformation. In jet mode the gun is carried on the belly similar to many of the Macross jets. As a Macross and aviation fan, I'm quite pleased with this figure. Recommended.
A redeco of Skyquake, but with improved parts that fix a lot of the problems with the original figure.Looks good with his twin and plays well. Definitely something for more responsible kids or adults with a young spirit. And if you're looking for something to add to your Transformers collection, you can't go wrong.
The figure came in perfect condition. Iām very happy with my purchase.
