An interesting Transformers toy. The small movable figure crafted as Bumblebee is a durable, complex toy. Bumblebee arrived in a well packaged box (as seen in photos). The movable parts make this toy similar to a puzzle. Fascinating how it can transform from an "Auto-Bot" to a yellow Volkswagen. Definitely a great gift for kids over 8 years of she.

This Transformer Bumble Bee toy is a mixed review for me. It made my grandson very happy, however, it is way too hard to “transform”. It took an adult nearly 45 minutes to get it turned into a car so the child would never be able to get it from a Transformer to a car. The directions are very confusing and don’t really help. It is a durable little toy that should last a long time. The packaging was hard to get into as well but that’s not a huge deal. My grandson loves it so that’s the most important thing. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

This transformer toy is like a little puzzle. It took me probably 20 minutes, with the instructions, to “transform” into a car the first time. I’ve gotten faster now, but it’s not easy at first. I will say my 5 year old son LOVES this toy. He’s hardly put it down in the last 24 hours. It’s too hard for him to do himself but he doesn’t seem to mind. I would buy this for an older child; it’ll keep them busy!

The movie studio series 86-29 deluxe bumblebee is so much fun…from the packaging to the nostalgic vibes I get to share with my son! We love the details reminiscent of the movie and the show. This toy is well made and fairly durable, although I definitely wouldn’t let my younger son get his hands on it. All the reticulating joints give the toy some vulnerability if the child isn’t somewhat careful when playing. It takes 23 steps to go from Bumblebee robot to car which is a bit complicated but with practice my 8 year old had it figured out pretty quick. This toy would also be an amazing piece for a collector if it was left in the box. I recommend Hasbro toys to anyone, they have exceptional customer service and care along with awesome products. My son absolutely loves transformer toys. It’s fun being able to move the pieces and turn it in to a car. The main drawback that I have is it seems that there’s never instructions on how to get it so we find we’re spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to move it to get it to be a car which can be a bit challenging at times, overall, the quality of the transformer is great. It’s fun to play with and it’s very entertaining for kids. (And adults when he can’t figure out.)

I was so excited to receive a free Transformers Studio Series Deluxe Bumblebee figurine! I remember the cartoons and commercials from the 80s and my younger brother had a few transformers in our toy box during our childhood. Upon receipt I was a little disappointed that it was going to take 23 steps to transform the figurine from a robot to a car. The instructions are for children 8 years and older, but I struggled to understand what the picture was trying to convey in multiple steps. My son is almost 7 and can usually master other toys meant for much older children, but he struggled to transform the toy and eventually gave up. The toy isn’t the sturdiest so I also question how long it will last, especially if me or my child accidentally turn the toy in the wrong direction when attempting to transform the toy. It’s a shame that the toy isn’t easier to transform and I know parents would appreciate a few less steps to make the toy easier for young children to play independently instead of asking a grownup for help. Personally I wouldn’t give this toy as a gift. I know my boys got frustrated and quickly lost interest in the toy and I feel like other children would feel the same.

(Incetivized) I always love toys where kids can do so many things and use their creativity. The Transformers Studio Series 86-29 Bumblebee is a real fun, engaging and creative toy. It lets kids change Bumblebee from a robot to a mini car and pose it in lots of ways. Plus, it looks just like the movie character which makes it it perfect for imaginative play and display! It's perfect for kids 8 and up. This came in a packing which was not fully covered but it’s fine as it looks durable and kids can feel it before buying. I like it and recommend it.

Crushed Box!

The Transformer itself there is nothing wrong with, but I gave 1 out of 5 stars due to fact the Target box was crushed! Totally unexceptable! Thank goodness the transformer box was facing downward(front of box is completely open by design so they don't use plastic(dumb!). Otherwise my transformer would have been damaged for sure! Are there just incompetitent people working that they can't make sure a small box is not getting crushed by bigger/heavier boxes?!

Transformers Studio Series 86 Bumblebee

It’s a nice take on a cartoon-style Bumblebee. The transformation is smooth and intuitive and the articulation is great. I was a bit disappointed that’s he’s a hair taller than Earthrise mold Cliffjumper, but that’s minor complaint. I do prefer the Netflix Bumblebee from a few years ago for scale and style, but I wouldn’t have a problem using this one on a cartoon-style shelf. There’s also a Toyhax set that’s only $0.01 as of this writing, it goes a long way towards having the figure fit in with the other blue-window cartoon figures.
