Very soft and comfortable, even if you lay down in bed and use this pillow, rather than just when sitting upright in plane. The back side is flatter, so you don't get your neck awkwardly pushed forward. Supports neck sideways as well.

I decided to get a new travel pillow a while ago because other horse shoe shaped pillows I have tried just weren’t that comfortable and never seemed to fit correctly in the airplane seat. I saw that this one was rated number one on the wire cutter so thought I would give it a try. It is ABSOLUTELY the BEST travel pillow I have ever used! It cradles your head perfectly, and has a really nice grip so that it doesn’t slide around while you’re trying to rest. It also squishes down very small so it makes it easy to pack in your carry-on. I chose blue and I like the color a lot

My husband and I were headed to Thailand, and really dreading the flights, which can sometimes take an entire day. We ordered three different travel pillows, and I chose this one. I was very very pleased! The Velcro held the pillow in place; the way it smooshes down into the small bag is incredible; and BECAUSE it’s inside a bag, it doesn’t get dirty, fall on the floor when I’m running through an airport, etc. I slept well
I am ecstatic about the pillow. My neck feels much better now when I travel via airplane, car, bus, or train. The only thing that is a drawback is the velcro closure which is a bit abrasive on the chin and neck. A double drawstring would be a vast improvement.
I bought this pillow at the airport after being disappointed by 2 other recent travel pillow purchases, and I just slept like a baby on a 4-hr flight. The back part is unique in that it contours nicely to the plane's headrest and doesn't cause my neck to stick out awkwardly like others. Great side support and had 0 neck pain. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit large and bulky for travel, and the little bag it comes with is kind of awkwardly shaped to stuff it in. Worth it though.

I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for myself. I like mine, however it doesn't fit my wife properly, goes too high up on her face and we'd like to return hers. You can't deal with Walmart directly since it's from a third party seller so they "contact the seller" for you. We've had to do this twice and no response. It looks like we are just stuck with a product that my wife can't use since Walmart doesn't seem to hold their sellers to the same standards that they have in regards to returns. Never again. Might just stick with Amazon.
