This is an amazing RC crawler. I've only had it a few days, but WOW! It's great for my part-time hobby; yeah, it's a little pricey, but you are getting the best of the best, so to me, it's worth every penny. It can handle pretty much anything. I feel like a massive kid again, but it's so worth it. RC Geeks, thank you for the support, customer service, and super-fast next-day delivery. You have been outstanding. I'm already looking at upgrades and customization!

I have been around the RC world for almost 20 years and this Traxxas TRX4 is a state of the art example. This vehicle is Traxxas entry into the Crawling / Scaler part of the hobby. Anyone who has been around this hobby for any period of time knows that for the most part Traxxas is renown for its quality. Any new RC can have a part failure. Many competitors vehicles cost hundreds, and take many hours of work just to attain the ability of a stock Traxxas. I liked it so much I bought 2! I DO NOT represent any RC company, but for anyone to give this highly advanced vehicle 1 Star probably works for a competitor in my opinion, or is new to the hobby and I challenge you to show me a similar, better vehicle with the same features as the TRX4 within $200.00! Good luck...

What can I say, this is an awesome bit of kit! Having come from nitro and petrol buggies I needed something a lot less quiet for our little family outings. And this is perfect! It’s fast enough if you want to have a blast around the field too, absolutely love taking this with us on our walks! I’ve bought lots of little scale accessory add ons which is slowly looking the part (it looks the part standard) the only real shame is no battery and charger although it’s not really a big deal with the huge selection of battery’s out there
This very detailed scale model is great in so many ways you could be looking at the real thing. Im 67 and confined to a wheelchair i needed a hobby and this is ideal. There is also a lot of aftermarket stuff that you can make it your own and not interfere with the integrity of the vehicle. This trx put me back behind the wheel and im learning new skills and ticks all boxes for me believe me i did my homework and im 100% pleased with my choice i feel itsis superbly engineered it runs very quiet and very predictable cheers all Ron
This is an amazing crawler. I've only had it a few days now, but its every bit outstanding. A little pricey for a part time hobby, but it takes almost anything thrown at it - creeks, rock trails, carpet floors, offroad etc. I'm thoroughly enjoying and planning upgrades already! This will eat up just about any challenge. When you think you're stuck, lock the diff and try again. Still stuck? Lock the other diff and crawler it. Im sure there is a way to lock only the rear diff instead of the front (my only gripe) but other than the one "flaw" I love this thing.Very fast shipping, very fast customer service. Great bundle. Awesome RTR Crawler! My 1st RC vehicle and I am impressed with the quality and features of this Defender. Two speed transmission and locking differentials! A blast to operate.
The package arrived promptly and well protected from RCGeeks.The Defender worked straight out of the box (after charging the battery) and is great fun to drive. There are a lot more technical reviews already on YouTube.Traxxas make their batteries and chargers really compatible with each other and are simple to use.I would use RCGeeks again for any future rc purchases and would recommend them.
