I've been waiting for 2 years for that 70L!! Where's the love?Anyways, I like this backpack so much I got my wife the women's version (at least she gets 60L)

Excellent piece of kit.

Exemplary design, near perfection

The bag is fantastic. It's a great size in which the 70 liters actually feels like 70 usable liters. So many bags feel like a calculus problem, the volume is infinite but totally unusable. The three entries into the main compartment makes access easy and enables you to organize in a variety of ways. The top compartment is sized just right for essentials you need daily and continious access to such as toiletries. The easy fit system is a miracle, one of the best shoulder adjusters I've seen, it allows for easy trek adjustments without the labor of removing the bag.The aesthetic is rather attractive as well, great color combo, sleek lines, and a good ratio when filled or empty without that unattractive bulge and lower slump many bags suffer. The single hip pad pocket ... MoreThe bag is fantastic. The single hip pad pocket provides ample space for any trek necessities like a map, phone, or your wallet. The material is strong as is the rain cover. The rain proof cover is easily fitted onto the bag and works even under intense conditions and protects the bag from any scuff marks. Exemplary protection for both meandering in nature and transiting in cramped and bumpy rides. However while I rate the bag 5/5 I do have four concerns, teo in design and two in construction.Bag to bag there is a discontinuity in quality. Unevenness in seems and seem allowances, different volumes in padding and distribution in padding. Mine came with hip pad indentations that looked as if it was from my immediate use teying it on, but turns out they previously existed. In the shoulder padding there is a small sown in seem that creates a ridge in the inflection point. This prevents a totally smooth and even weight distribution across the shoulders making it somewhat less comfortable. I was confused how at similar weights their 60L bag with far less padding was able to be just as comfortable when loaded to a total greater weight. So it is less comfortable than you'd assume from straight padding thickness. However it is quite comfortable. The bag is easy to clean unless it gets oil on it, oil will not come out.The next flaw isn't so much a true flaw but a deceptive appearance. The easy fit system is fantastic and a miracle for readjusting while trekking however it's look makes it appear as if the frame is removable to make it smaller for budget flights. Many companies tend to have that and I infact asked an employee if this was the case and he said yes. I also spoke to multiple backpackers who had the luggage and many of them had the same thought. Given that it's a budget bag I assumed they would aim for customers to be able to use budget airlines. It's size is formidable and a reduction in volume could be useful. That said while it could be improved upon it is a marvel of design, comfort, ease, and cost. 5/5

Extremely pleased.

I’ve had this rucksack for over a year, and have used it multiple times (including a 3 day coast hike).I can’t praise this highly enough. I was a bit concerned about the central zip, but this is a great, useful design. Both my wife and I use it, so the quick adjustment is perfect. There’s loops on the bottom for attaching extras (such as a tent) with additional straps (which I brought from Decathlon).Overall a very versatile, comfortable pack.

Good functional rucksack
10 October 2022

Took this for an overnight hike. The easy fit system seems good for initial adjustment however this is one of the most awkward bags to put onto your back after breaks and such. I’ve never had this problem with other rucksacks however this one rubs badly where my armpit and chest meet, no matter how much I played with the adjustments. I use trekking poles so maybe this bag hasn’t been designed with the arm movement in mind…Other bad point, I don’t trust water bladders kept inside with your dry gear so I rely on water bottles. you have an exterior pocket on the right ideal for a 1.5L/2L water bottle; also on the RH is the water bottle pocket at the waist, which was functional. However with your water stock full, this results in a very RH heavy bag,I think I will ... MoreTook this for an overnight hike. Great bag, great features, just one thing...
29 September 2023

The self adjusting easy fit system is intuitive and, well, easy to get the perfect fit each time. The full length zip is convenient when at camp and it's too dark to dig around in the depths to find what you need. One thing that isn't ever mentioned is that the separator between bottom and top compartments is handily fitted with toggles giving you the option of two compartments or one big one. The rain cover is a nice addition if a bit heavy/bulky; it's big for the bag, like it's a one-size-fits-all affair. The one thing that irks me is the asymmetry of the external features. There's one set of trekking pole loops on the right, which is fine. Also on the right is a forward facing bottle holder, which I'm also ok with, but it does have a strange elasticated opening ... MoreThe self adjusting easy fit system is intuitive and, well, easy to get the perfect fit each time. There's one set of trekking pole loops on the right, which is fine. Also on the right is a forward facing bottle holder, which I'm also ok with, but it does have a strange elasticated opening that takes some practice with one hand. A long expanding, zipped side pocket on the left is useful, but because it's only on one side, it gives the bag an unsightly, off-centre bulge when full. The expanding sleeve pocket on the right is very useful for quick access things, but rather than one (pocket) or the other (sleeve), it would have been more versatile with both a zipped pocket and a sleeve on each side. The one thing missing, which makes the least amount of sense, is not having a zipped hip pocket on the left like on the right. The left side hip belt is just a bit empty and non-functional. I think there might be an attachable pocket available, but if there isn't, there should be.

Great comfort and quality for the money
11 July 2023

Intial impressions so far so good. Loaded with all my winter goods and took it out for a couple hours. Fit was nice and easy to set up and hardly felt the weight. The material could be better but for the price not bad. Also the rain cover fits but barely. All and all great product!

Great starter back pack for backcountry camping.
1 August 2022

My son and I are going to use these packs for our backcountry camping adventure. Comparable packs from other brands range from $250 and higher. This pack is well designed and very comfortable to wear. Currently in my pack I have a 6 lb tent an inflatable sleep pad, a 10F sleeping bag and an inflatable pillow. I also have my cookset with fuel and chair along with a rain coat and a bubble jacket. After packing I still have plenty of room for other smaller essentials. The hip strap and adjustable back also distribute the weight very comfortably.. I feel very confident in this pack, our first hike is 2 hours long to get to the camp and I am sure I will be comfortable in this.

Strong and Durable
15 February 2023

I like the feel of the bag despite heavy load during my Mt. Pulag hike. Durable. The zippers are very sturdy. The material is strong. I feel confident that the bag won't spill my stuff due to zipper malfunction while hiking. I intend to buy a few more products of FORCLAZ. Excellent!
