After many configurations I was able to fit more than I ever thought I could in this carry on bag. For me it’s very important to have the most expensive items in my carry on instead of checked and for that reason maximizing the carry on space is an absolute must. I originally found out about this system after buying a camera second hand that had a pelican 1535 and this system. I couldn’t believe how many things I got into this bag and now since I got rid of the camera but kept the bag and bough another bag. Definitely, the best solution I have used and with a little planning you can fit almost everything you need in just the carry on.

I've used the trekpak system in 2 pelican cases now and I really like them. Good flexibility, not as thick as the velcro padded dividers, and no issues with the material flaking like the pick and pluck version.

I was a little put off about the price at first, but then I grew to love this stuff. I bought some extra because of it. I use it for my carry on pelican case that has most of my camera and assorted equipment. I can have several different setups depending on which lenses and cameras I want to take. I highly recommend and more than likely I will never use anything else again but this stuff.
This is a great way to offer your gear the maximum protection with the most efficient use of space. The only reason for knocking off one star is the base foam. It is a simple sheet of 1/2 soft, mushy open cell foam (useless!). For the price of this kit, Pelican should provide a base sheet made of closed-cell foam similar to what is used on the dividers. I replaced with a piece of 1/2 cross-link foam to solve this problem. Otherwise, TrekPak is the bomb!
It?s study and it holds up nicely. I absolutely love that you can cut them to customize the best fit for the load out that you?re bringing with you. Likewise my biggest dislike is that you cut them so fixtures can feel permanent and less flexible than other options but realistically I don?t change my load out so often that it?s an issue.
TrekPak dividers are the best for me for all of my cases and gear, which includes photography equipment, my knife hobby and sharpeners. I will continue to use them.
I have been frustrated with the soft velcro type divider systems, so I ordered the 1535 Air Case without foam or dividers, then ordered the TrekPak divider system which is exactly what I needed. The design is perfect for customizing the compartments to fit your gear and organize just the way you want. The cutting knife works perfectly as well and makes each divider the with a straight, square end. I highly recommend this system to anyone wanting to keep their gear protected and organized!
I like these dividers for the 1535 case for carry on purposes. I would try to avoid checking this bag as Trekpak is not that padded. I would also suggest they use a higher density foam for the bottom of the case. The stock foam just isn't stiff enough especially if you're rolling this case over uneven pavement. Pricey for what it is, but I guess you could say that about almost all film gear.
It's a bit expensive for my liking but definitely the best divider system for cases. Materials are very high quality and the customization is unmatched.
