I purchased the TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray from Target while on travel this summer. I needed an budget friendly heat protectant that I could use in a pinch. I found this product did not work very well for my thick, color treated, naturally curly hair when I used it for blow outs and flat iron presses. The smell is nice, but it does not provide the level of heat protection or conditioning my hair needs. This product seems like it would work well for someone with light haircare needs. It retails for less than $10 and is available at most retailers. It is not one that works well for me but may be a good budget friendly alternative for others.

We have all seen her, known her, and used her thinking she would save our hairs from those paddle flat irons on 400 degrees. While she’s truly not meant for that kind of wear and tear, for the average user who would straighten or curl their hair maybe 2-3 times a week; she’s still perfect. Always use the proper heat setting for your hair!! And remember, it’s okay if the product sizzles some! You wanna know it’s working. This is the tried and true of heat protectant sprays! For the price, you get about a year's worth of product. I use this every single time I blow dry or apply any sort of heat on my hair, and have noticed a huge difference in the breakage and split ends my hair has. I have bleached my hair numerous times before, thinking it was invincible, only for it to get completely fried and crunchy whenever I straightened or curled it. With this spray, it's easy to coat sections of my hair, and it keeps my hair soft. The smell also is nice, and doesn't conflict with any of the other fragrances or products that I apply. There is no residue, and it does not weigh down my hair. This is an incredible product to have in your haircare arsenal.

This is a great heat protector spray. I have very fine hair that gets weighed down by hair products. Most hair products make my hair fall and become limp and heavy immediately after application. This protector spray is one of a few heat protectors that do not make my hair greasy and flat. It does leave a slightly detectable residue on my hair, but it is minimal compared to other heat protectors I have used. It effectively protects my fragile hair from heat damage. This product is very affordable and it delivers better results than other very expensive heat protector sprays. I recommend this product!
