Purchased this to punch some holes into a leather belt, and some faux leather for a costume piece. Barely made a dent in either. Do yourself a favour and just get some hollow punches.

Doesn’t work very well. Tried to punch holes in my suede Birkenstocks and it wasn’t strong enough
Wasn't worth the effort to walk down the aisle to get it.Took it home, tried to punch a hole in a very thin leather belt even going through both sides, absolutely useless.Definitely don't recommend at all
Does not cut , and before you say you have no hand strength. Blah blah . I have another brand which works perfectly, this one had a bigger hole size so this is why I purchased. Will be returning.
Not sure about all the bad reviews. Maybe they're all too weak wristed and couldn't punch a hole in a wet paper bag. But with a firm grip the hole punch worked perfectly for me. No fuss, no complaints, no great expense either. Glad I ignored all the bad reviews and got the job done without having to overthink it.
I bought this product to punch a hole for my leather belt and it couldn't make a whole. I tried so many times and its still the same. very dissappointed.
